I just watched this movie for the first time last night on 3D Blu-ray using my 100" screen and projector, and it had me holding my breath practically the entire movie! I have a mild fear of heights, and the 3D in this movie made me feel like I was right up on the building with Will Sawyer (Dwayne Johnson's character)! I can't imagine watching it in 2D would yield the same results, so I am very glad I picked up the 3D Combo pack! If you are a 3D fan I highly recommend picking this up ASAP!

There was life like moment Like when the burning trees were collapsing & as they were falling over when projected on screen, the trees crackling came out of the height ceiling speakers that trigger your instincts to make you look up. No 4K/3D combo.

This is a great 4K-Ultra HD movie with plenty of action, a great plot, lots of incredible special effects, and great acting from Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, Neve Campbell, and the rest of the supporting actors. This movie will, guaranteed, leave you sitting on the edge of your seat through 90% of the movie!

The Movie looks Outstanding In 4K and the Colors are Warmer and Richer thanks to HDR and Dolby Vision and the Cast is Always Great and the Steelbook Artwork is well Designed

Great movie with Dwayne Johnson at his best. One of his best movies !

I liked this movie as it is entertaining,plenty of action but it’s like watching 2 movies released years before! I would buy this movie only if you can buy it for $10-$12 bucks unless your a Dwayne Johnson fan!

Correctly pack, brand new and an outstanding movie

This movie constantly had me on the edge! Every time I think it couldn't get any worse, it would. The pacing was good and it consistently ramped up the tension throughout the film. The 3D pushes the tense scenes even further and is my preferred way to watch this movie. I often see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a superhero, so seeing him as a more human character is a little jarring for me but he does a terrific job as ex FBI agent Will Sawyer. The story itself is rather predictable and sometimes cheesy but the way they get to those moments is where this movie really shines. Overall I really enjoyed Skyscraper and it is a great 3D movie. If you have the means to watch this in 3D then I would highly recommend you get the 3D version of the film. If you are a fan of Dwayne Johnson or you enjoy watching movies with tense action scenes then I would recommend Skyscraper for you. 4 out of 5 stars

The Rock takes on a different kind of hero in this story. A wounded warrior who has made a family after a disaster nearly killed him. He is in Hong Kong to sign off on the security measures in place for the new tallest building in the world. Recommended by an old friend, it is his chance to make his small security business more prominent, but once there things go south quickly. Thugs take over the building after stealing a device needed to control the highly sophisticated technology used to secure it, but unfortunately not until after his family are caught inside. Lighting it on far and disabling the fire safety, the thugs work to get back the information the owner of the building has, while Dwayne does his best to break into a building above the 96th floor fire to save his family. Akin to Die Hard in some ways, Johnson doesn't come off as an impossible to stop hero like he is in many of his action pics. He shows a lot of heart as he does his best to show that a disability doesn't mean you have to be disabled. A very good movie and reminds us that our wounded warriors don't just have value, but can be heroes as well.

While this movie isn’t perfect it does have a lot going for it Dwayne the rock Johnson gives one of his best performances sure there are still some over the top and slightly cheesy moments this character does have a great backstory and is instantly likable The movie is visually stunning and some of the technology is shown in the movie seems futuristic yet it is believable that this technology could soon be a reality The 4K ultra HD steel book is beautiful there’s a great artwork and the 4K ultra HD format really helps The sleek futuristic design of the movies architecture look its best this movie exceeded my expectations and I’m sure you Enjoy it as well just to clarify I am giving it four stars because of the movie the steel book design is flawless

This is for the 3D version of this film. I've seen much better 3D visuals out there, this is solid, with one fantastic scene in 3D where you are looking down from way high above ground on a ...skyscaper...That alone almost makes the 3D version a must buy. The rest of the film has solid 3D moments throughout. Not bad, but could;ve been better. Im glad some studio's are still supporting 3D, and hope it stays. If you have a good 3D TV, then you can see how much it does add to the enjoyment of a movie. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack is overall good too, but could've been better. Solid through out. Some good bass/LFE for sure.

Surprisingly good movie. Lots of serious action and LOTS OF FIRE! Dwayne is a BIG hero in this movie despite everyone thinking he is the villain until the end.

You gotta love DJ-who doesn’t? Remake of an old movie “Towering Inferno” that’s more contemporary-action packed-lots of digital stuff. Would’ve like it better, if The Rock had some dry humor lines, like Bruce Willis in Die Hard. Still a good story, and admire DJ both as a person, and a role model. I think he’s a very capable actor, this is kinda corny, and not very believable. Nonetheless, a good entertainment movie.

Great classic movie that has everything for everyone. By that director nobody knows. The presentation on 4kuhd is superb. Excellent shadow detail and black,whites and grey.

Love Dwayne Johnson. He is the reason I bought this movie. But he is not why this movie was good. The story line was good. The special effects were awesome. I kept saying, wow the sure make it look real! Even his prosthetic leg seemed real. It was just over all believable because of the great job they did over all. Skyscraper was a cliffhanger nail biter.

This is a great movie for the prize and you get it for in 4K he can’t beat it. The storyline is great. I’ll recommend if you won’t be disappointed.

While the movie won't win points for originality, the special effects and performances will keep you glued to the screen. Dwayne Johnson does an amazing job as a security specialist trying to get his family out of the tallest building in the world and ends up having to square off against ruthless mercenaries. Classic underdog good guy vs well-equiped bad buys :)

All the negative feedback for this film is attributed to its situation-based plot which doesn't go complex in terms of development. Well then, you must keep in mind that this is just a fun action movie and a great one at that. SKYSCRAPER rose above my expectations right from the beginning and from the point when the action became frequent, nonstop and back to back.

I didn't like my blu ray copy of Skyscraper that i have gotten five years ago. I had to upgrade to 4K. The blu ray copy will be gone.

If you’re a Dwayne Johnson(The Rock) fan or not, you will definitely should enjoy this actioner with wonderful visuals and CGI effects. Decent story along with good suspense, Dwayne Johnson had absolutely took it up a notch. Looks great on 4K along with its surround sound; super clear picture and audio would satisfy any viewer.
