First season is the best! Chemistry between Abbie and Ichabod is great!

Sleepy Hollow is one of the most awesome new TV shows currently on the air. The very first episode will draw you in, and each episode after it will keep you glued to your chair wanting more. There are lots of Biblical references and famous people from over 200 years ago mixed in the story lines as well. Icabod Crane's character, played by Tom Mison, is quite different than the Icabod you may have read about in Washington Irving's book. This Icabod is highly intelligent, multi-lingual savvy, has a photographic memory, and a British accent. All I have left to say is, "Wow!". This is a must see!

Sleepy Hollow takes something everyone is familiar with and then twists it completely around. The characters are likeable and interesting, without feeling like you need to know their entire history to understand their motivations. The supernatural aspects of the show aren't cliche and they have a great deal of pay-off. Instead of having too many loose ends, this series allows a growing progression of a mystery that unfolds as the season continues. Strong female characters are supported by great male characters and unlike most male/female leads they aren't forcing a romantic angle on the viewers.

If you were to read the pitch for this idea on paper, you'd think it impossible for it to work on screen, but somehow it does. Humorous, dramatic, epic, and creepy, this is a one-of-a-kind show that I highly recommend. If you're looking for something "out there" with a really cool and crazy premise (Ichabod Crane, revived after 200 years by magic must fight the Headless Horseman who is really Death of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse...watwaaat), then this show can do you no wrong. It knows exactly what kind of show it is and revels in it.

Don't ignore this show just because the commercials made it look obvious and predictable. My girlfriend "made" me watch it, and it caught me by surprise. In shows like this, usually you just have to suspend your disbelief and accept the premise, but you don't have to wait long with Sleepy Hollow. Every loose end is tied to something else later, and it's usually an interesting explanation. Occasionally the dialogue is a bit predictable and they sometimes lean on Crane's eidetic memory (way overdone in tv shows anymore) as a way to find answers without committing too much time to figuring things out, but even so, I got a lot more than I expected from this show. It's not the most amazing show ever, but it's definitely something to binge watch while you're waiting for the next season of your favorite show to start again.

This program is from the same guys who brought you "Lost", "Person of Interest", "Hawaii 5-0", and the "Star Trek" re-boot. It involves magic, the Book of Revelations, the Free Masons, and George Washington. It is a wild ride; and, a lot of fun. The Blu-ray transfer is spot-on; and the sound is nice and clear. I cannot recommend this show enough! The special features add a lot of the background; and how they produce the show. I am looking forward to Season 2 on Blu-ray.

Sleepy Hollow is another unique and interesting new series. The mix of 18th century background of the main character and present day situations is the allure of this show. Tom Mison is really easy on the eyes as well and his comedic timing makes the occasional comic situation terrific! Great characters and locations along with good writing and production values make this a keeper. Looking forward to subsequent seasons.

Purchased this as a gift, so I can't comment on the quality of the DVD's. The price was great, and the show, when I watched it on broadcast tv, was excellent. This first season only consists of 13 episodes, which sees to be becoming the norm for many new series. Great to see that it was picked up for a second season, consisting of 18 episodes. Will a third season follow?

Sleepy Hollow got off to somewhat of a slow start because it needed a longer than average time to establish the story and the characters. Once that happened it took off and became one of the most enjoyable shows on the TV. I am a Sci-Fy and time travel nut, so this fits me very well. The DVD quality is acceptable, don't expect anything near to blu-ray quality.

I didn't know what to expect when I sat down to watch Sleepy Hollow. I didn't really expect edge of your seat thrills and genuinely scarey moments. This is probably the best Scare-TV since the X-Files. Well acted and written with some of the best creatures ever on TV. The show has its funny moments as the main character deals with waking up in another century. We learn some really interesting tidbits of American history. Did you know that demons aided the British army??? Great extras round out this blu-ray release. I dare you to watch just one episode...you'll be hooked!

Visually stunning, like a movie every week. Saw it when first broadcast on Fox, had to own it. Follower of John Noble(24;Fringe) and Tom Mison. Favorite episode - John Doe- Middle English that is spoken. Another goodie- the flashbacks to Ichabod's past. And it's funny!! All the actor's know their craft very well.

When you first see a show like this one, you are just getting into the characters and story line and things happen so quickly you cannot catch everything. So to rewatch it a couple of times you really can pick up the little things you missed at first. Some of the historical facts are great to associate with as well.

Great show! Engaging characters, good writing, excellent actors, supernatural enemies, and history (albeit slightly twisted) what's not to love? Plus nods to its original story and author, and it's not without humor. One of the most original and refreshing takes on the current surge of supernatural shows.

We truly enjoyed this show from the first episode. The writers struggled a bit in the first few episodes, but the action overcame it. As the season progressed, it was better and better. The Extras on the Blu-Ray gave a great insight to the show and the characters.

This show was constantly being recommended to me from friends and when I saw it on sale I broke down and bought it. This show has impressed me so far. It has dark overtones and a dark atmosphere, which I love as a horror fan. I now recommend it to my friends who haven't seen it yet.

This tv series is hilarious. Both the actor and actress are great in this series. They are able to go in out through the past and present time to give the show a great meaning. Sleep Hollow is not always ment to be scary but entertaining as well. I look forward to the new season.

When I first saw the promo for this, I thought this show would be a major failure and be cancelled within a couple weeks. Fortunately, I can say that I was completely wrong (don't judge a show by its tv promo). This is a great show! I just wish season 1 had more episodes!

The story line, the coice of actors and actresses fit perfectly to the script in the context of bringing something old to modern times. i won't spoil this season but it is better than season one by far and cannot wait to add to my collect as long as they produce dvd.

I generally do not care for historical stories revamped to be set in the modern era. Sleepy Hollow, however, held my attention from the beginning. It is a wonderful modern update of the story. Casting is well done. I'm excited to see how the second season will go.

I wasn't sure about this show when I first watched it, but as the season went on, it just got better and more interesting. I always love the extras on these; I find more about why certain things were done and how the writers came up with certain plot points.,
