The power cord for electric dryer and electric ranges are rarely included with the purchase price of the appliance, because there are different types of outlets that can be used for these installations. So, it is important to find out what type of plug end your appliance will need prior to installation. I have seen dryer outlets used for range installations in older homes and vice versa. The plug that the installer used on my equipment appears to be of good quality and is working fine in this installation.
