    40-Amp 3-Prong Universal Range Cord with Spade Terminals is a must for safety and operation. I'm just disappointed they don't come automatically with the dryer - you have to purchase this item separately.

    The cord worked perfectly out of the packaging as expected. Attach it to the range and plug it in. That's it. The cord must be purchased separately from the range if you need a new one.

    This was a pretty easy do it yourself hookup. I was worried that i would mess up but it was rather easy. Remember to take a picture of your old outlet to ensure a perfect fit.

    You should always change out your old cords when installing your new oven, for safety reasons. I have no complaints about this product.
