Just because, I really don't want to have any electric hazard. I mean SAFETY is always first, Its not worth it using a older plug which may not provide or listed as 30 AMP. Great product!

Required for my new washer/dryer

I am not sure why Whirlpool doesn't include it in the price. I am glad that I purchased in the store instead of online. I wouldn't have knowing to buy this. The installation completed without any issue, and I have my washer/dryer for almost a month and have no issues. I guess this power cord is working :-).

Seems to work fine, but since our last washer/dryer also came from Best Buy I wonder if we could have used the previous power cables.

Customer ordered for me Nd i did store pickup. It was perfect. Works perfect.
