Required for the new dryer

The dryer didn’t come with a cord attached. If you have basic skills You can hook this up to the dryer. My dryer came with instructions on which wire goes to what space. And it’s pretty easy. However I have electrical experience.

Dryer cord

You can get them cheaper at big box stores, if you do purchase one else where do not take it out of the package until Best Buy installer installs and see your cord is new and in a package. I had a new cord that I opened before they installed the dryer and the installer told me he had to use the BB cord cause I had mine out of the package. If he used mine it would void my warranty. I told the sales person in the store I had the cord their response was it would be up to the installer as to whether to use the one I had or the one I had to buy at BB. Funny thing was on the dryer kit BB sells the sales person told me it was required too, so I purchased it. When the installer came out he told me he did not need to use the one I bought at BB that my existing exhaust was fine. My guess is he did not want to go under the house and install the dryer exhaust kit. He did mention to me he was trying to get through as quick as he could to get off early.
