New should go with new

Most likely, our old dryer's power cord would've fit, but since it was old, we replaced it. It's never a good idea to rely on an old cord when dealing with electricity, especially with a large appliance like a dryer. Best Buy installed it, and it works great.

Dryer works!

The dryer works, so apparently the power cord is a success! It's annoying to have to buy the power cord; why is it not included with the dryer?

Does what it’s meant to do

Im not sure why the dryer does not just include this item. But, what are you going to do? We are at their mercy. Served it’s purpose and has worked fine.

It’s a cord.

Could have used my old cord and saved some money, but preferred to buy a new one. It’s a good cord and not too stiff. It works just fine. The prongs appear better finished than some cords I’ve seen which look more like some sort of cheap pot metal.
