I just clicked the two pieces back together but I couldn't get it to work for a little bit until I messed with it (flipping the switch on/off and taking the battery out/in). After that it was fine. I had no problems taking it on the plane either. It went through the bag scanner fine. I did get a quick pat down on my return flight after I went through the body scanner but that could have because I looked dangerous or like a drug smuggler or something.
