Before purchasing this, I logged how many days my Ring Spotlight would last after I initially installed it. Counted 37 days before it was completely drained. Thought to myself, I would have to go up and change this about 10 times a year. Divide that by roughly $50 (the cost of this solar panel) and that's about $5 each charge. Takes about five minutes for me to remove and reinstall the battery and another 5-6 hours to charge. Is $5 worth my time and effort (not to mention electricity)? Heck yeah it is!

It works for my ring outdoor stick up cam, its winter time right now meaning less sunlight but it does charge up my my cam.

Excellent item, I don't have to climb a ladder now to remove and charge the batteries in my cameras now.

Very easy to install. Wish it would work for all the camera's, rather than having to purchase one for each camera. It's been hooked up for almost a month now and no issue's. This camera is in a higher area, so it's extremely nice not to have to climb the ladder to charge batteries. We are very happy with the product. Eventually, I will be adding one to all the camera's.

Works Great.. Makes it nice to have it keeping the battery charged In my stickup Camera. Now I don't need to get my ladder out, and change the battery every few weeks, especially in bad weather, or in the snow. That alone pays for its self, by me not falling of the ladder in the snow or ice weather. Well worth buying.....

I currently own 5 of these on my property. I have been able to stop changing out batteries (even been able to just keep one in and have the others in the house... just in case). The solar panels keep the batteries charged or near 90%, even on the most cloudiest of days. I have now had them during every season - they perform well in snow, rain and full or partial sun.

I had purchased the Ring Spot cam about a year ago and saw myself having to change the batteries almost every 3 weeks which started to become a pain, so I decided to buy the solar panel boy I should have done this the very first time, super easy to install and now my battery is always fully charged I even have the settings to go off frequently and to film for 60 seconds and the batteries are still fully charged , definitely recommend.

Got tired of recharging batteries on my Ring camera. Plus the batteries would decide to fail at the worst times, like in the middle of a storm. Haven't had to recharge the camera batteries since adding these panels.

Great to keep a Ring Spotlight Cam (Wireless) that sees a lot of motion decently charged. With proper management of the device you can easily get the battery charged back to 100% just by adjusting your motion settings for a day. What I mean by this - If your device receives little motion the panel will keep it sufficiently charged. If your device receives a lot of motion, which drains your battery, you will need to adjust motion settings to a lesser detection rate to get the battery back to 100%. This is heavily dependent, obviously, on the amount of sun your panel gets. My panel receives around 6-8 hours of direct sunlight a day and is able to keep a charge of around 60-87%, with VERY HIGH frequency (it overlooks a road). If I adjust the motion settings down to a less frequent setting, or off for a day or two then the battery will be back at 100%. Used for 2 weeks with 2 batteries. One battery has stayed at 100% since charged, the other fluctuates between 60% and 100% depending on my management.

These solar panels are a game changer. The ad power to my ring cameras so that I don’t have to recharge the camera batteries all the time.
