I bought this TV for my dad to replace a RCA of the same size that went out 2 days after the 2 yet warranty went out. Disappointed with my last purchase I wanted to be sure this was going to be a good one. Read all the reviews and I was able to catch it on sale and as an open box item. He has had the TV for over a month now and is loving it. Picture quality is great, after a little tweaking, as suggested. It sits on a stands and is very unstable. He has it wedged against the wall so the dog doesn’t bump into it and know it down. Other than that it is great.

The TV does not have any fancy bells or whistles, but it has been great for a game TV for the kids room! For the money the size and picture are great

This TV was perfect for my needs. I did not want smart features and it was an easy setup with a great picture.

I am very pleased with my 49 inch Toshiba television. I was very surprised the bargain price that I was able to purchase my new television for. Thanks Bestbuy for the great deal. I was replacing a Toshiba 40 inch television, that was recently stollen from my home. The insurance company was able to reinsurer me enough money to be able to upgrade my new purchase. Thanks USAA.

Very great picture from far away.. Set up was quite nice and simple I would recommend for a new set up for living room

Light enough to carry it alone. Out of the box, on the stand and up and running in about 10 minutes. Great picture at an excellent price! Love it!

We were looking for another TV with a bigger screen to replace the one we currently have in our bedroom. We purchased this TV at a great price. The picture and sound are great!.

Happened to stumble into my local Best Buy one day to take a look at some tv's. I just moved into my first place and was looking for a tv for my living room. I already had a 50" tv that I had gotten as a Black Friday special from a different retailer but wanted to use that in my bestroom. Happened to stumble upon the 49" Toshiba for an incredible price at $279. The tv has a great picture for the price and works well my Xbox One. The dual tv base stands are great and keep the tv stable. Would recommend this product to anyone looking to not break the bank but still don't want to skimp on quality.

This TV works great but I would say it is priced little higher. Overall quality of the product is good but you would get grat brands like Samsung/LG if you pay little more. Also the TV works at 60Hzs which makes big difference. If you get 120Hzs by paying little more then that's worth it. I have seen my friends TV which is 120Hzs and the picture quality differs a lot. 120Hzs is always preferred over 60Hzs. Those who got this same model at Thanks Giving 2015 door buster price were lucky ;)

Love this tv for the kiddies and spare bedroom. Just the right amount of inputs. Surprisingly lightweight. Great screen size for the money.

Was an especially great buy because it was Black Friday door buster. I really like this TV! My only disappointment is that two very frequently used buttons on the remote (those to get program info and to return to last channel) are very small. Yet, a rarely used button (certainly rarely for me, and probably for most users), closed captioning, is a larger button. Would be nice if at least one of the small ones was swapped with closed captioning and, preferably, a way made to have other most-frequently used buttons a little larger.

Has a great picture. Easy control unit. Smart tv works very well.

I've wanted a 50-inch TV for years and have spent the last six months shopping them. This was by far the best deal.Not quite 50-inches, but close enough. The picture quality is excellent while streaming, not so great off of basic cable. That's not the TV's fault. Comcast uses 46OI in their basic package which simply isn't a strong enough signal for a TV of this size. Otherwise, a true home theater experience. Good sound. Excellent price. I got it on special online for $302 (taxes included). Very happy with this purchase.

I have it until my bed room with a simple soundbars and 8 inch sub...TV has great picure. Very bright colors and deep blacks. Great buy

I got this TV for 150 on black friday and it works great! I like that it looks clean. It is a huge upgrade from my old box, lcd tv.

Great size for use in the barn and had 3HDMI and USB hookups for all game systems and receivers and picture quality for the price
