This TV is a nice size for a bedroom. Easy to set up and program with cable remote. The only problem with this tv is the speakers are not very high quality. Some shows require the volume to be turned up to 100%

Great television. I stream everything through Apple TV, so I did not want a Smart TV. Although it doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of my former Samsung, it is more than able to project a clear picture with beautiful color and depth. In my overly complicated set up, it's a relief to have a tv that just turns on and allows me to use my other gadgets. Played some PS4 games on it with very little to no lag, even with some complicated game play. Simple tv, maximum results.

This is a good 2nd TV. It does not have the picture crispness or bells and whistles of higher priced models, but is a good purchase for the price.

So I read all the reviews online and went with most of the positive. The price was under three hundred for a 49" tv. What have I got to lose? Right? This tv was a trusted brand in the past. I figured I'd give it a try. First, packaging was very good and secure. Transport in the back seat of my Camry was very easy. Unpackaged tv was very lightweight, almost too light for a tv;.). Setup took all but 10 mins. Menu has basic options easy to navigate. Tv has great sound, good picture. To some, they may think this is the best picture unless you've had better. ( I'm used to higher end models but had to compromise) This would be a luxury item for someone on a budget. All in all, I would recommend this affordable tv.

The tv was easy to set up, scanned channels, then, quit working. Apparently, the sensor,(red light), isn't functional. I thought it might be the controller, so I took it to my local Best Buy. They checked it, it was fine. It's the tv. So, I have to figure out how to wrestle it back into the box, then drive to Best Buy, and see if they can either figure it out and fix it, or, replace it with a tv that DOES work.

My husband and I upgraded to this TV from a 32 inch Vizio in our living room. It was a fantastic choice after researching TVs for over a month! The sound is perfect for us, although some may find it just a tad lacking. However, the picture quality is wonderful with HD. We didn't want a smart TV since our cable provider has most of the options with our box, so it was perfect for the price. It's also very lightweight, so it's easy to manage! It has been almost a month with no complaints!

It Is a great tv for what I use it for but for someone who just has basic cable the 480 is really a deal breaker. i use my Fire Stick and am more happy that way

After much contemplation, looking into a replacement, I decided that a 32" 720P TV was no longer large enough or HD enough for me seeing that even my parents have moved on to a 60" 4K smart television at their house. I bought this for full price out the door with no hesitation and had it mounted on my wall within two days. After calibrating the color/saturation settings, I realized the upgrade was worth the price. The sound is audible but I might look into getting a decent sound bar to amp out the home entertainment theater feel. Maybe because my last television set was only 32", but I can't get over how large the TV is at 49"...still trying to get used to the size difference. Going from 720P to 1080P was another appreciated welcome as my dual 27" IPS computer monitors are 1080P. While I was not too terribly finicky about the 720P of my 32" tv, this TV's 1080 resolution obviously made a difference. At the moment, not willing to shell out money for a 4K yet. The only thing that would make this a better deal if it was a smart TV. but nowadays, with HDMI cables, or streaming devices and players like chromecast, fire stick, roku, nexus player, apple tv, fire tv, we can all emulate a regular hdtv into a smart tv.

Overall good product but the picture is not as clear as I had hoped.

This is an great tv. I bought it 1 year ago and the picture started going out so I wouldn't buy unless you buy a warranty with it it.

I bought this tv little over a year ago, i had purchased one already and returned it because it was defective, same day got one just like it and it worked great, now a year and 4 months later this one came out defective, it has a black like running from the top to about half way on the screen, i really regret not getting the warranty on it, i would have expected to tv to last a lot longer without any issues.

Came broken, hairline fractures in the screen. Was a gift and it was two days after the allowed return policy expiration.

Seems really nice so far. The overall look is nice. I bought it for a rental property and they seem happy with it.

I got a really great deal for this TV. Not the best by any means but a good working flat panel for basic needs.

I bought this tv a week ago and the picture fades in and out. It's not a clear picture at all.
