If you are looking for a room tv this one is perfect. If you want quality to impress your visitors i would recommend a LG or Samsung. This tv is great for the price, but it is really basic with the picture quality and sound. I would recommend for a master bedroom not for a living room.

I needed a 2nd TV and I am very happy with my purchase. The clarity and color are good. This isn't a super high end TV, but for the price I paid, it was definitely worth the money.

This TV turned out to be a good buy- looks great, price was good. We left it on standard picture adjustments- I wonder if a tweak here and there might make the picture even better.

Great size and picture for the money. Don't need a smart tv as I have a Roku and most tvs out there are now smart in this size.

I tried to purchase this TV on Black Friday, but they were sold out before I had a chance. So when this went on sale again, I jumped at it. I am very happy with this TV. The picture is great, and the sound is great - some reviewers have said that it needs a sound bar, but I'm happy with it. Even with the large screen size, it fit nicely in my little Civic coupe. Looking forward to many hours of binge-watching with this TV!

This TV is one of the cheapest large screen set that I have purchased. The functions are basic, no Smart TV, no 3D and no 4k. The picture is good enough for my needs with a Blu-ray player and OTA signal reception. Can not beat this TV for the dollar. Would recommend to anyone looking for a basic TV which is what most people actually need.

Picked this up a few weeks ago for $299.99 a great deal for 49in 1080 flat panel. After tweaking the picture settings the image is excellent with good color and contrast, blacks are very dark. However, no matter how much I toy with the sound settings I can't get my sound bar to work right. I have it hooked up via optical digital cable. Sound will work fine until a commercial or I change channel and then it cuts out for 7 seconds or so. If I disconnect sound bar and use tv speakers they work well and get quite loud but the sound level varies wildly between channels. What is normal level on one channel is way too loud on next channel so I'm constantly lowering or increasing sound when I change channels. Not sure what else to try. Guess my tv is defective. Other than that, pretty good.

Highly if you are looking for a cheap deal for this kind of TV! I have to see the picture quality to offer my honest opinion!

Bought this TV at discount price. For less than $300 to buy a 49" TV is one of the best deals out there. Really good quality TV, always liked the brands from Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic....etc...

I really needed a new TV for my apartment because the old one was gone and didn't want to spend a ton of money on a TV with a lot of features so this TV comes in really handy. It is energy efficient and a great size.
