Excellent performance and value

We were looking for excellent display and sound but without "Smart TV" options because the DVR and Blue Ray Player we already owned covered those functions. The Toshiba 49L310U filled the bill, excellent picture and excellent sound without the added expense of duplicating "Smart" functions we already had in other components of our entertainment system.

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality and value

We made a list of the features we wanted After looking at our options in terms of price and convenience, we decided that it made the most sense to purchase it through bestbuy

Damaged display
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We picked up the TV on 2.26.16 and were holding it for my grandfather's birthday. We just opened it and it has a damaged display. We immediately noticed a blemished spot on the edge of the display about the size of a quarter and it looks like there is fluid behind it. We plugged it in to see if that would affect the picture and there's a large white box with asst. colored lines in the area of the damage and above that. There are two purple lines above the initial setup box and one part of that box is shaded on the right side. There are also yellow and other colored lines on the bottom right. From the great ratings, I'm sure this is a fluke with this one unit. I'm not sure what we can do about this. We love Best Buy and everyone is great.

Junk

Speakers popped very loud until i had no sound at all. When i brought it back to best buy i was given a Westinghouse to replace. Not happy at all
