First time in 25 years that my wife told me… “excellent audio purchase”.

Ordered the product from a local Best Buy. After installing all of the speakers, I learned that the included Sonos Amp did not come with a US power cord. Instead it included a European power cord.

Beware - this is very different than the Sonance Garden or Landscape Speakers. These speakers sound like they are going to blow anytime the volume is above 40 or 50. I have Bluetooth speakers that sound better.
I also upgraded and used a Sonance DSP Amp to hopefully get more power and it was a complete waste. Don’t waste your money on this system. If you want Sonance landsxape speakers for anything larger than a 5x10 area, you’ll need to spend the extra money on the actual Garden series or Landscape series. This mag system has wasted a lot of my time and money.

TL:DR Don't waste your time with these.
Unsure where all the great reviews are coming from. We're assuming they are paid reviews, people that don't try things out or shop around before purchasing, or they just don't know any better.
The max audio on these is very quiet and the sub doesn't deliver. It isn't ideal unless you have a very small backyard. The sound disappears after 10' or so. I am assuming the bulk of the price is from the Sonos amp (which retails for $700 at the writing of this review) that is included. The Sonos amp is great, we loved it (and bought it seperately after we returned these).
When compared to other systems, if you are going to spend $1400 (sale price for these at time of purchase) you can get much better sound quality, max audio, and range if you purchased Klipsch AWR-650-SM Indoor/Outdoor Speaker rocks or even the Sonance rocks (which we also tried but determined the Klipsch were better) with enough money left over to buy the same Amp by Sonos found in this set.
Hope this helps someone out.

Not impressed with the sound at all. My 2 x Sonos Five speakers are much louder, deliver more bass, and overall sound. I had to turn these up over 60% before I even began to hear them. So disappointed.

We love our Sonance outdoor sound system. It is very well designed and the quality of the product is evident. The system arrived in a very large box (sorry Fedex guy!) and upon opening found everything secure and very well packed. There was a large subwoofer, and amplifier and 6 speakers with stakes. Seeing a system in brown was different, but in a good way. Everything is designed to blend into the surroundings and brown is the obvious choice. Before you begin setup, a trip to the store for speaker wire is necessary. I believe in overkill so I went with 14 ga wire. I read the instructions which do a very good job of illustrating how you should plan your layout pointing the speakers in directions to get maximum coverage of the yard. I laid everything out, dug the hole for the woofer near the center of the back fence line, and, borrowing a trick from my cable installer, used the claw of a hammer to open a shallow trench for my wiring. You really need to just open enough to get the wire under the grass and you should be good. I placed the amplifier in my wife's green house as it has power and had a perfect little nook for it. Installation took about 4 hours, with beers.
I downloaded the Sonos app, which is easy to use and accommodates your major music services. As best I could tell, you need to use the app to play music, you just can't bluetooth to it and go. I could be doing something wrong ( I am getting old, lol). The sound was surprisingly good!! It just goes to show that you don't need flashing lights and a colorful case to produce great sound. I love walking through the yard as I really feel myself moving through the sound as you get closer to certain speakers and further from others. I really dig it and can't wait to have parties so others can experience it.
This system is absolutely perfect for us and our backyard. We are blown away at how good the sound is, and even though the installation takes a bit, the end result rewards all of your hard work.

I have been using the Sonance 6.1 outdoor sound system for about three days now and have experienced the following.
Installation:
Sonance does a pretty great job with instructions. Everything is well laid out in the packaging, so you know where everything is as you go through the instructions. The subwoofer is intended to be buried in the ground; however, this is appears to be optional. If you want a less “permanent” installation this is a nice option. The speakers are planted into the soil via ground spikes which is very easy to do. I found if you use a metal rod like a screwdriver to first loosen the soil where the speaker stake will be going its much easier incase the soil is hard. Then, you run the cables from the speakers to the home base amp which I located in a shed outside my house. Keep in mind, Sonance does not provide enough speaker wire to run the speakers to the amp. Make sure you buy some extra speaker wire that’s outdoors friendly. I bought 200 ft of wire since I was running each speaker about 30 feet from their location to the amp. The cables to the amp is super simple to install and the instructions have that all laid out.
Sound Quality:
Wow, these things really sound incredible. Up until now I’ve been using a pretty nice Bluetooth speaker for my outdoors music. This is not even remotely comparable. The Sonance sound system is very loud and incredibly directional, which is especially important. I have neighbors to my right that are no more than 30 feet from my sound system which was a concern of mine. I don’t want to be the annoying neighbor with the loud sound system. Due to the directional nature of this system, I was able to aim the speakers in a way where minimal amount of sound bled towards his yard. This allows me the ability to play the sound pretty loud without disturbing the neighborhood. If this is one of your concerns, then just know you can mess with the directions and keep it pretty private. One more thing ill mention about the sound is the quality of the bass. I was very interested in if you would be able to feel/hear the bass since it’s a pretty large outdoor area. You can feel the heck out of the bass. If I lived somewhere more private, I would crank that thing all the way up and it would sound incredible. If bass is important in sound profile to you then you will be very happy with this unit.
Conclusion:
The Sonance Outdoor 6.1 sound system was designed to hide in your backyard, and it does just that. I placed my speakers in a way that you couldn’t see them unless you were deliberately looking for them. The brown color makes it even easier to blend them into the foliage. I am extremely satisfied with the system. Just understand you will be doing probably around 3-6 hours of labor to do this properly. Clear instructions, great sound, discrete looks, makes this a big winner.
