This is not a problem because of the subwoofer I have. They do the job.

My AV specialist told me that this is not right surround speaker for the Mag 5.1 Premium System to be added for the 7.1 setup. Had to return and order the correct surround speakers.

As far as comparing their sound quality versus your Bose speakers it's hard to hard to determine what it is that doesn't meet your expectations, as sound is subjective, and I don't know what Bose model we are being compared to. I will say that Bose is a quality manufacturer of speakers. Could it be that there is an installation or set up issue that is effecting their sound quality? We would like to help you. The installer said I would be hearing from Best Buy about scheduling a replacement. I have not heard anything.
