Sonos Amp has made listening to music easy and fun. Easy cause I can now just pick up phone and play music from my in ceiling speakers. Fun because my kids love to have me listen to their new favorite song using their iPad.

Product took less than ten minutes to set up. Instructions are better than excellent. Amp is powering a pair of quality B&W bookshelf speakers beautifully. Hope to enjoy many years of happy listening.

Ticked all the boxes , for compactness, style, build quality, huge power o/p at both 8 Ohm & 4Ohm speaker impedences, Airplay2 support , functional Sonos app etc but doesnt have any significant subwoofer o/p,when connected to third party subwoofers. It may work fine with Sonos Sub, but seems there is a design issue(or software bug) that results in a very small power o/p when driving third party subs, that works fine other receivers. So not suitable for 2.1 listening with a thirdy party Subwoofer. This is reported by other Sonos Amp users in Sonos forum as well, with no permanent resolution.

If you use this for both listening to music and for listening to TV - you need to be aware that after listening to music you must go back into the app and switch the "room" back to TV or you will not get sound from the TV. If you have the app open you'll get a warning. If you start music via Alexa you will not. Which brings me to my second major complaint - there is essentially no user guide with anything useful beyond setup instructions. I had to find the switch back to TV trick from numerous searches and could not find anything definitive on the SONOS site. There are many user "solutions" to the issue so beware what you try. Switching back to TV via the app works for me.

Do not buy this product. Sonos used to be a great company with great product now its hardware is terrible. The setup on this is awful. It does not work. It is even built in to the setup up with a note upon completion that the devise may not appear in your system. Then the customer has to spend hours trouble shooting. The app is also now terrible to use. Sonos used to be intuitive and easy to use which made its product great and now it is so bad I’ll never buy their product again.

Its a great amp but it is ridiculous they don’t offer one with more inputs for more speakers. Its way too expensive.
