I bought an apple HomePod 2nd gen first but I wasn’t impressed. Got this instead and it’s perfect in every way Can’t even used it more than 50% volume in my room because of how loud it is

Excellent sound. Balanced mid and high ranges without distortion. Bass is solid and movies and music sounds with clarity.

This speaker has a crisp clear music that sounds like is around you but is missing parts of the music. For example on the Fives you can hear the guitar picks when they hit the strings like if it was live and on the 300s you can't hear that. I have a pair of 300s group with a pair of Fives and it sounds incredible. In my opinion the 300s does not replace the Fives but it gives it that surround that the Fives are missing.

This is a great purchase. After purchasing upwards of 15 Sonos speakers and my preference is the Play 5 I find this updated version the 300 to be a great replacement to the previous 300s. Also aesthetically it just is more appealing.

Booming sound, cool design, and it's perfect for my use. I have this in my dining room as part of a multi room Sonos set up and it's great. Sounds good, looks good, and connects with the rest of the system well. One star off for lack of a Google Assistant integration and Alexa as the only option, plus it's super expensive. If neither of those bother you, it's perfect.

This have created such a great surround sound environment in our living room. It pairs so well with our other sonos speakers.

Replaced play 3s with era 300s for surround audio with arc & sub and they are amazing. This is a great upgrade I recommend for all as it gives more depth of audio and spatial audio coming from all around you. If you have play 3 specific speaker stands you will need new to replace them as the mounting/bolt location changes front back to bottom of the product. After doing the true play tuning, depending on the distnace you sit away from the speakers, I preferred to turn up the surround audio level to hear them more. It is true that the front speakers don’t output audio in surround mode, which should be the case as surround audio doesn’t come straight at you and why I would suggest turning the levels up if you are used to that with play 1 or 3s.

Bought during the Black Friday sale. Great sound, solid build quality, and easy setup. The only drawback is that it’s larger than I expected

This smaller sized speaker packs a huge punch. The design is very nice. Bass is very good as well. The tech is even better.

Wow, what an improvement over the 100's. Big sound, easy to connect, completes the system. I'm very pleased!
