Great speaker and sound. I got an aftermarket cradle that the charger fits in to, and I have it under my pavilion outside. I got this mainly for it's construction and ability to be used outdoors. It's been out there for a few years now and I don't bring it in during winter or rain. It's not completely in the elements but there is not a ton of protection from a driving rain, etc. I don't think it ever gets soaked, but I'm impressed with how it's holding up a few years later just being outside.
