This is the best sounding $200 speaker i've ever heard honestly. I love how BIG the sound is vs the size of the unit. Its not terribly cumbersome having to use the sonos app to play your music, it does pull everything together and act like a HUB for all your music subscriptions which is nice. I have had to unplug and reboot my speaker several times because my phone wouldn't connect which has me taking off a start for the hassle. Otherwise this would easily be a 5 star device. I am on the fence about how I feel about having to unplug and re-plug it to get it to connect on occasion, still playing that by ear.

Been looking for a means to have custom stereo installation in home, without the wire systems. This solves the problem nicely!

Sound is great, and it could not be easier to use.

The Sonos P1 is a small speaker that packs a lot of sound when used in a medium-sized room. The speaker is full range and maintains good sound at high levels. The biggest opportunity is the software. There is no real way to turn the speaker off. Therefore, any streaming music source you are playing from is simply paused. The problem with this is for some reason the music resumes play on its own. TAo avoid this now, I had to unlink my Pandora account and only sign in when I'm ready to listen to music. All in all, I still like this device. It would be better at a more reasonable price too.

This is this 5th sonos speaker I have purchased. I have 3 play one's and a play 5 that I absolutely love. This speaker is used to be portable, primarily for the front and rear porches. Extremely easy to setup, with excellent sound quality, especially for a speaker with such a small footprint.

I like Sonos - although I do believe they have problems and some glitches - I love the sound and the quality of their WiFi product. I own a Five, Three two Ones and the Connect AMP as well as the dedicated router. Its a great product and I know I will buy other Sonos products soon.

I have my entire home setup with Sonos. I bought these to be under my back porch (well protected, I’m not suggesting these are outdoor speakers). I’ve done the setup several times now, but I’m always impressed at how easy the setup is. In an open area, the sound still broadcasts well.

Excellent small speaker for a small space. Easy set up and seamless integration with other Sonos Speakers and Apple Music. Only con is low bass for a larger room.

I now have 9 of these, inside and outside the house. Love how I walk through entire house and hear music in every room. Cant beat it. Sonos is also connected to Lutron, they have light switches and outlets you can control from your phone. So through the Lutron system, I can automate Sonos turning on and off.

this is my 3rd sonos speaker. I have them in different rooms in the house and you can choose to group them to play the same music or just play in 1 room. they're very easy to setup and best part is you can put them anywhere they can pick up the wifi. for summer parties, I even put them out in my yard. highly recommended!

Bought this for my husband after so many good reviews. Hope he loves it. Won't get to open till Christmas!

I purchased 3 of these. One for each of the bedrooms. It is great to be able to play music in the Master room and lullabies in the kids room. Quite a bit of base in this speaker too. The one thing I'm not happy with is that Audible is not supported...although Sonos says that it is coming later in the year...

Sonos is very simple to hookup and sound quality is great.

This has completed the whole house setup for music in every room. Love Sonos and the service it provides.

I wanted a product that could play my music wirelessly and this by far was the best choice. I had previously purchased the Playbar so pairing this with that gives me amazing sound. Located in my bedroom and it gives off plenty of sound to fill the room. Will be purchasing more to put around the house and link all of my music together.

Look this is a great speaker and connection to your Sonos system but it is not a theater speaker. You get a generally good sounding speaker for $200. Sometimes it will not play certain music with the accuracy of the larger more expensive Sonos components, however it generally hits the mark and is a very good background music speaker.
