The sounds is very good, and it is loud enough to cover my kitchen and living room. I could use a speaker in one of the other rooms eventually, and I will probably get one of the bigger ones for the living room. I gave this review three stars because of being limited to the playback through the Sonos app. I currently am an Apple Music Subscriber and can play all of my playlists and my collection through the Sonos and Apple Music integration. After having the speaker a couple of days I wanted to play a podcast that I listen to regularly and noticed that there is a selection in the Sonos app to play music that is on the device. Within this section of the app you could pick Podcasts but as soon as I started playing the Podcast it started from the beginning. I was already halfway through the episode in my car on the way home earlier in the day and was disappointed that the position did not sync with the Podcast app on the phone. if I did not have a subscription music service then I would have returned this speaker due to the limited playback through the Sonos app. With that being said, there was just an update that allows playback of Spotify directly through the Spotify app so I am hopeful that the experience will improve over time.

i move around a lot for work and was tired of trying to conceal wires at each new house. After a lot of research I decided to invest in a Sonos System. The sound quality is great, it is easy to set up, and very flexible.

We added the Play1 to our existing Sonos system. The speaker added wireless music to our dining room. This small speaker blended in while still offering great sound. Connectivity is once again great

This is my third SONOS speaker they are excellent sound quality, and easy set up and pairing to my other SONOS speakers. Setting the speakers up Spotify and Pandora give access to an outstanding music selections...

I Bought this for my boyfriend. He loves it a lot.

These speakers work fine. I use them in the living room as an addition to the Playbar and it completes a good surround system. The Sub is not necessary unless you need more base than is generated from the Playbar.

My third sonos item..looking forward to buying a Sound Bar soon.

The convenience of having millions of songs, that can play through out the house is incredible. The sound quality and flexibility with a Sonos system in the house pumping out music wirelessly is the way to go.

The streaming works flawlessly. Bought it primarily to use with streaming apps. Added bonus is the ability to tie into my pc's music library. I liked the quality so much, I bought the Playbar and Sub for the TV room.

This is very good, I like the size, the sound and the app

Have several of these linked together and love that it fills the house and can be controlled from phone! Great purchase and will e adding more to the three we already have purchased!

Sonos really has it figured out. Got this on a great open box deal to go with my new turntable and Sonos Connect. Works great & sounds fantastic either as a stand alone or in a pair with another Play:1

We've had a variety of wireless speakers and no other brand works as well as Sonos. Seemless integration with all our devices, great interface, and amazing sound quality. Don't spend your money on any other brand!

Bought two PLAY:1's to complement a Sonos Beam in the living room. Great home theater sound without the need for receiver. Wireless system also allows me to listen to internet music services.

I have purchased 5 different speakers in the Sonos line, this latest one is the smallest one yet it has the same quality sound as the others (sound bar and series 5).

i have purchased 5 of these so far and i'm not done yet. also have a play 5. the 5 is better but i don't know if its better than 2 play 1's. it would be close. maybe someday i can get 2 play 5's and then the real test.
