I have tried the Bose speakers as well as the Sonos. I've also tried just regular Bluetooth speakers, but none of them really compare to the Sonos experience. Sonos is really seamless. I have found it to work exceptionally well for our needs. My only complaint about Sonos is that the interface to the music services is usually not as good as the service's actual application. That's something that Sonos is always working on, so that could change in the very near future. Overall, though, this is a great sounding and operating speaker.

The sound that comes out of this thing is amazing for its size. It fills up a large room. The sale price wasn’t bad either!

Amazing speaker. Love that you can control it through your phone and play separate stuff on different speakers. Will be buying another soon

I've been looking for a simple to use and good sound for when I work at my home office. I've tried Bluetooth, regular speakers, etc. and none that I really used persistently. I was reluctant to commit to Sonos because of the proprietary wireless, but I am glad I got over it. Now it is linked (via wireless) to my NAS where I have all my music and I can enjoy the music anytime.

I purchased 3 Play 1's and we love them super easy to set up and the sound is amazing. You will not be sorry. I will have one in every room!!!

This PLAY 1 replaced our long-favorite BOSE system...and it sounds better! We paired with the sound bar to provide alternate sound from a new LCD TV. Very easy to set-up and manage via the SONOS interface. Look forward to adding the sub-woofer, but will have to wait for a sale, coupon, rebate, etc.

Purchased for my teenager. It's perfect. Was very easy to set up and plays her music at the perfect volume to keep everyone in the house happy!

We cannot believe the sound from this small speaker. Love being able to move it around the house. We plan on using it on the patio this summer.

Really good sound. I use it primarily with my surround sound but have used it by itself and the sound is really good for how small it is. But that does take a bit of know how to accomplish the first time if it is grouped as surround sound normally and you want to play it by itself. It would be nice if it had a battery function so if needed but that may take too much power.

I absolutely LOVE my sonos wireless system! Would absolutely recommend to anyone that wants to install a wireless surround sound system. It is extremely EASY to install...the sound quality is excellent and it is extremely easy to expand and it does not drop! I love that i can listen to different music in different rooms. I would absolutely recommend the sonos system!

Bought this for our daughter after having purchased and enjoyed a Sonos Play5. Easy to set up and great sound for a small apartment/room.

We bought 2 of these speakers for our home to start our Sonos system. They are pricey, but they did not disappoint. The only problem is now we want more! We have one the our family room and one in our office. The sound is great and the app and desktop controls are easy to use. Setup was a snap. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

This little guy does a great job filling up a bedroom-sized area. I have also unplugged it at times during recent moving process, and of course with any Sonos product it's easy to move from room to room. Unfortunately I bought this right before the Alexa-enabled version came out, which is the same price, so I'm not sure why a person would buy the non-Alexa version unless there are other performance factors at play, which is why I "would NOT recommend" this particular one to a friend.

Wonderful sound.Added it to my indoor set up, but placed it out in the garage. Very loud, but not as good as the three.

My second Play 1 and the stereo sound is very good but I use them in different rooms. The app works very well and easy.

Worked great out of the box. Good sound, easy setup, no problems so far. A little pricey, but worth it for a solution that just works.

We added this Sonos Play One to our current Sonos system, very easy to set up and allows us to move it around the house. Sound is very good.

Very easy set up and perfect size for any room in our house. Quality of the sound is wonderful. We love the fact that we can adjust the volume in each individual room depending on preference and or have the speakers set to the TV in one room while the speakers are set to a radio station in the others.

Easy to setup and easy to use. I am very impressed with Sonos and plan on buying more Sonos Play speakers to expand the reach in my home

Mounted my Sonos Play 1's as a stereo pair in my living room and couldn't be happier. Sound great. Easy Setup. Great user interface.
