This WIFI speaker really sounds good and interfaced to my Home Automation System with ease. Installed with ease and works great.

When we had our home built, we chose to use the Sonos product for through home sound. So far it has been a good decision. I bought the Play:1 to get a feel for how easy it is to connect separately purchased items with our existing system. Surprisingly, it was extremely easy. I bought 2 Play:1 speakers and set up one in my office and one in owner's bath. I can walk through most parts of the house and have the music of my choice playing wherever I am. For me, it turns that boring silent time I usually spend repetitively completing mundane tasks into a more lively time. I'm still completing the same boring tasks, but now I am doing so to some of my favorite music. The ability to group the different speakers is what I like most. I never have to turn on another speaker system, then find the music I was already listening to because I changed rooms. I simply group my speakers, and within a few seconds, I'm listening to the same song in a different part of the house. I plan to get the playbar and sub to set up the 5.1 surround sound. So far, great speaker and system.

I wanted a system like this for a long time. I was very hesitant to pull the trigger and I did a lot of research. I bought the system last summer as a retirement gift for myself. I have used it every day sense. The installation instructions were excellent and I was up and running with four speakers within an hour. I control the entire system from my cell phone and my wife has it on her phone as well. The sound quality is excellent and I have not had one glitch yet. Highly recommend it to all.

I absolutely love these speakers. I originally purchased a single play 3 to put in my living room, but soon found myself bringing it back to get two play ones. I love my decision and would do it again. The speakers are so clear and crisp. I play my pandora in the living room. and hers in the bedroom. Works perfect. Hope to soon at the playbar and another play 1 to make my 5.1 in the living room.

I love these speakers for both their sound quality and their versatility. I believe WiFi is a better technology in the long run compared to Bluetooth, so these speakers will be relevant for a longer time. Perhaps the best thing is that Amazon appears to have chosen these speakers as a worthy investment as they are now enabling Alexa for Sonos (with the new Sonos One having Alexa built in, not just compatible). I don't think you can go wrong with these...

This is easily the best wireless speaker out there. The app is easy to use and this product is the easiest speaker to set up.

Very simple setup. Perfect size for the master bath. We have other sonos products in the house, glad we went with this brand.

This is my 2nd Sonos Play 1. I wanted to stream music to all parts of the house so I have this set up in my TV room on the other end of the house. I am using a Sonos bridge to drive my speakers. The bridge creates a separate network for all the Sonos speakers so you don't have to use your existing WIFi that you might be using for other things. These speakers are great and sound fantastic!

the play 1 provides good surround sound for movies and sports programs. being a wireless system it can be placed anywhere in the room and with its design makes it look like a nice piece of furniture, provided you can hide the power, which is my only criticism. easy set up and installation.

Bought to start a SONOS wireless speaker network in my house, instead of spending of built-in ceiling system. The sound is really amazing for the size of the enclosure and have now added another unit. Will add more! Easy to use with the iPhone application. Only con I have found is that creating a group of speakers to play the same audio stream while easy enough is not "permanent" and is lost if you have reboot the speakers (as it happened when I lost power in the house). Other than that, fantastic!

Sonos Play 1 wireless speaker has outstanding sound, great features, and was easy to set up! I love it!!

My home system includes several connect 1’s and a connect 3 - all on my Sonos Connect. They have great sound quality and are always on - so music can be playing softly in each room throughout the house. It’s a nice touch when you have company or when you walk from room to room and still listen to music. The set-up process makes you feel like the sound quality is specific to your room and I have never had an issue connecting via my phone or iPad.

I love this device because, unlike most that rely on bluetooth, this connects to your home wifi network. While you may use a mobile device or desktop to adjust settings, the speaker will play independently. Because it streams from wifi, it does not require a second device (and your device's battery) to continue pushing music to the speaker. This is the setup I have wanted for a long time and the Sonos speakers do it well. And, of course, the speaker sounds great and looks great, also.
