Sonos equipment is awesome! The sound quality is absolutely amazing. The Play:1 speaker can fill an entire room with high quality sound. The installation and set-up are idiot simple so that anyone can set the system up and operate the Sonos system with ease. I now have six Sonos devises, which is what's great about the system....it is completely scalable.

I purchased these Play1's to add to my WIFI SONOS System that I've been using for several years now. My Entertainment Surround Sound consists of a playbar, bass, and two Play1's. I also have a Play 3 and now two more Play 1's. The SONOS system is a superior speaker system for excellent sound. The SONOS App which is used to operate the WIFI speakers and setup is really easy to use. SONOS customer support is also the best. They will walk you thru any set up issues. The SONOS speaker system is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I'm 67 yrs old and I've bought a lot of things in that period...it's really saying a lot! You will never be dissatisfied with a SONOS speaker... I know because I own 7 now and am extremely happy with all of them.

I bought the playbar and sub before adding these guys. The playbar and sub were great by themselves, but adding the play 1 speakers to them to create a surround sound system, has been great and has expanded the sound of movies and music to another level. The Sonos system is well worth the money, it brings movies and music to life, and new great heights.

These speakers have proven to be the best speaker investment I've made to date. I have now moved twice and these come with me in tow. Initially I bought three, then added two more. And with technology changing I will add more of there new line so I can group with these and also gain AirPlay. Sound quality is top notch, and I've connected my Amazon, Apple, Tune In, and I heart Radio accounts so I can play almost anything I want. I love the ability to play different things on each speaker or go all out in party mode. Can't say enough great things, 5 years going strong.

Overall, the sound produced by Sonos' smallest speaker outperforms most typical speaker docks. The ability to connect a plethora of speakers within your home is incredible. Currently I have 2x Play 1 speakers and 1x Play 3. For the money, the sound upgrade from a Play 1 to a Play 3 is worth the extra investment, in my opinion; however, if you're looking for a powerful speaker to fill a smaller room, this Play 1 is plenty sufficient. My only knock on Sonos right now is the inability to play sound through general websites. I'd love an upgrade where you can listen to music off of YouTube, but right now you are limited to the suite of apps available through the Sonos app.

sounds great for small package , got the play one for kitchen due to build of speaker would hold better around moisture .sonos are expensive thats why i have it 4 stars. but they due sound great.

ive been a Sonos customer for about 5 years. I own a PLAY:5 and a CONNECT. I got a pair of PLAY:1 for my daughter for Christmas. She loves them. As expected they work well. Super easy setup and good sound quality.

Sonos Play1 is a great WiFi speaker for kitchen or bedroom. I use to play Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, TuneIn Radio. Small enough to grab my kitchen speaker and move out to the patio when hanging out back in nice weather. Also, throw it in the suitcase and take it on vacation too as rental houses always have WiFi.
