This is a great speaker. The audio quality is superb. If you are looking for a speaker to listen to music and not move around then this is it. I'm not too happy with the Sonos app because all of your music has to be played through the app. So please keep that in mind.

Play easy to connect with Sonos. Small. Great sound. Portable.

Set up was fairly simple. I bought it for my wife for Xmas and she loves it! Have it in my living room and can hear it in the back bedroom. Did plenty of research prior to dropping $200 on one speaker. The sound is very good for the price and I'm buying myself one for my birthday which is going in my bedroom and can see what this system can really do. If all goes well most likely will save up and get the sound bar and then can put the other two in different areas of the condo. Only a couple of times did it become a little glitchy during playback, but my internet connection can be spotty at times so it may just be that. Overall this system is very good for such a small speaker.

The sound output on this is insane. It’s been a year and we absolutely love it. The app was a bit clunky at first but since then they’ve updated it with a bunch of enhancements. Really amazing quality...sounds like you’re at a concert. My husband is a snob when it comes to media stuff and he says this is the best!

I bought two of these for two of our bedrooms. The pros were that they are well built, and work great with the songs app. The cons for me were that if you want to use them as a single speaker the depth of sound is lacking, they sound great a stereo pair. Further more these units don't have a line-in, which makes them only usable with the songs app. In my experience unless you subscribe to one of the services such as Pandora, Rhapsody, or have a media server at home you are out of luck. I have over 30,000 tracks with iTunes Match and I was not able to stream them to my Sonos system unless I downloaded them first. After a week of frustration I ended up returning these.

These little guys sound great, especially given their small size. Larger rooms can make them sound smaller, but they fill medium to small rooms with impressive sound. Bass is more than you would expect. Loving them!

I am a huge SONOS fan. I have full systems in my main home and vacation home. I have mostly PLAY 1 speakers in most rooms because they provide sufficient sound quality for the size of rooms. I do have the Play Bar with PLAY 1 speakers as the surround speakers when paired with TVs. I am very happy with the hardware and software from SONOS.

I added this Play 1 to the Sonos setup I've been using daily for the past three years and couldn't be happier! If you have been on the fence about Sonos, get this one, take it home and start using it. Once you realize how easy it is to set up and use, you'll be back in Best Buy within a week to add to different rooms... Sonos is addicting!
