Great sound and convenient size. I plan to get another one.

Beautifully packaged and easy to setup. Well, kinda easy. We have WiFi extenders that utilize the same Name for ease of use, however — the speakers don’t seem to find each other or the app if one connects to an extender. Being able to control multiple rooms on multiple devices utilizing the same streaming services is awesome! Looking to extend my living room surround sound with the Sonos Connect Amp. I also purchased a pair for my parents. Time to bring them up to technology. They are still rocking the 90’s system — and recently broke an antenna! Can’t wait for them to get their hands on these!

It wasn't that long ago that you needed to spend thousands of dollars if you wanted a distributed audio system in your home. Thanks to SONOS, wireless technology, and the power of the internet, almost anyone can enjoy whole house audio. I purchased the SONOS play 1 wireless speaker and got the bridge for free. You will need broadband internet and a wireless network set up. You will also need at least 1 connected PC or MAC and 1 connected smart phone or mobile device to take full advantage of the SONOS system. Be sure all your devices meet the HDWR requirements. I am using a 2011 MacBookPro, 2 iphone 5's and 1 fairly recent ipod. This set up allows remote control from the 3 mobile devices. I am able to access the music files from my laptop. At some point we will add additional SONOS devices and we will have a distributed audio system which will give us the ability to listen to want we want, when and where we want , as long as we have broadband internet and wireless. Thats the rub. All this stuff only works if you’ve already invested hundreds if not thousands in hardware, and an ISP. Fortunately, many households meet this requirement and that means SONOS should sell many of these. The only disappointment was the inability to stream my content from the cloud. I also noticed that after a long period of inactivity, I need to reboot my laptop to stream my audio files. There may be a fix for this but i have not looked into it. This did not affect streaming from the internet which is our primary content source. So, if you already have compatible devices and broadband, and a love for music, I can’t see how you could go wrong with the SONOS Play1. It has decent sound, does what it is supposed to do, sets up easily and only cost $200.00. Enjoy! ENJOY!

Easy to set up. Works well with Internet. Sounds great.

I just upgraded my sound system to wireless and couldn’t be happier with the sonos. It worked so well in my media room I purchased a second system for my bedroom. I also have a play 3 for my kitchen so when I’m watching a game I can play it through multiple rooms so I can keep up with the action while cooking.

This is my second Play 1 speaker, and I love them! The audio quality is as good, if not better, than Bose for way less. These in addition to the Sonos One (not to be confused with the Play 1) make a great tandem. There was just recently a compatibility issue with Apple products, but if you buy a Sonos One for $50 more, you can pair it with existing Play 1 speakers, no problem. That would be my only, very minor, complaint. But that’s only because of Apple, not Sonos. Love these speakers, and they never cease to amaze me every time I listen to them. They are so worth it! Oh yeah, set up is easy through the Sonos app. :)

Sound quality and small size fits well in my living room

It's Sonos, and its the industry standard for a reason. For such a small speaker it gives huge sound and it is crystal clear. I have 1 for the Living room, and i will be getting one for the Man Cave and and 1 for the bedroom next, i cant believe i waited this long to take the dive, it is an amazing speaker.

Great sound from small speaker. Easy to set up either your initial Sonos speaker or add to existing system. Great for streaming music throughout house from multiple services. Wish there was better integration with Spotify though.

I could not be happier with my Play 1's. they were extremely easy to setup and the sound quality is superb. In the past 2 months I have purchased 4 play 1's, a play 5 and a sound bar. I will eventually get the sub to complete 1 TV room with 5.1 surround. I will also be picking up a connect for my Harman Kardon receiver and Klipsch speakers in the living room so they can be on the sonos network. Using the app is simple and connects my Apple Music, Sirius, amazon music and internet/local stations. Literally EVERYTHING I listen to is able to be accessed within that app. That to me is what makes these products worth the money. The sound is amazing but I am also paying for the experience of sonos and I love it.

I love this speaker. I have several Sonos speakers setup in different rooms in my home. It’s really cool to be able to take tunes with you anywhere you go through out the house. I added the play 1 to a bedroom recently and I love it. I didn’t need to spend more money on the New Sonos One because that room already had an Amazon echo there. The play 1 is easy to set up and control via Alexa. I actually like and prefer the physical volume button on the play 1 over the Sonos One. So if you’re looking for a slightly more affordable WiFi speaker and already have Alexa on another device. This is the speaker for you.

Sonos is an excellent speaker that has great sound and is very easy to set up and use. It is portable which allows one to move it to any room. Lots of great sound and great quality too.

The quality of sound is fantastic. Bass is wonderful.
