Still my favorite sound bar. Stylish, almost iconic at this point. Great depth and clarity from this speaker. Add rears and sub for complete sound.

Sonos is the best purchase of the year! The grouping of the sub and surrounds makes my raspberrypi/kodi/projector setup my dream theater.

So pleased with this bar. I also have the $800 Sonos Arc and for the money, this bar sounds just as good in my opinion. Very pleased.

I love the Sonos but I don't recommend buying refurbished items that are considered an electronic. Make sure you check out what's wrong with it first. I had a hard time connecting the Bluetooth to my TV.

The sound from our LG Oled is very poor, to the point where we have a difficult time understanding dialogue and have to rely on subtitles. I went to bestbuy and listened to several soundbars and this one had hands down the best sound. I did not have a chance to listen to the sonos arc, but comparing this to the Bose offerings and to the Sonos beam, the playbar had much better sound all around. It has good base on it's own, a sonos Sub will take it up another level but I wouldn't say it's necessary. Even though this is refurbished, it came packaged like a brand new unit and worked perfectly out of the box. For the price of this refurbished unit, It is in an incredible deal. Yes there is no HDMI arc and no upfiring Atmos, but it works great without any of those upgrades and has phenomenal sound. Programming the TV remote to control this was very simple and it operates seamlessly with my TV. It even has an IR repeater so even though it blocks the IR sensor on my TV, the TV remote signal still gets passed through the bar to the TV and I am able to control the TV without trouble. In all, this is a very high quality produce, don't let the age of the unit or the fact that it's a refub scare you off. It still performs better than the majority of soundbars on the market and likely all other soundbars at the price of this refurb model.

This review is strictly about the Playbar itself, not the refurbished aspect. The Sonos Playbar, made by Sonos, is a luxery soundbar, as you can see by its price. The setting up is fairly easy, downloading an app to connect the app to internet. Now, the sound quality is amazing, especially once paired with other devices. However, on its own, it works fairly well, although with worse quality. What I would do is buy the new and improved soundbars made by Sonos, but if you’re on a budget, go for this instead, you’ll love it.
