Perfect range and very sharp

The quality it produces in my videos is far beyond my old equipment.

Prefer the Tamron

Got this bc the Tamron was out of stock, but the Tamron came back in stock 2 weeks later so I exchanged it. Tamron is sharper, but this lens performance was good, just not Tamron good.

Great value for price

The construction is solid, the glass is Zies (one of the best lens glass you can get) and it functions great with the camera. The auto focus is reliable but I’d be sure to have an external monitor to ensure you are focused on the right subject. Using the camera you can make it auto or manual focus. The lens creates great lens flairs if you are looking for that and know how to control them. I have found this to be my go too lens when I’m on a run and gun shoot. I recommend this item for sure!

Won't let you disappoint

I purchased it without trying because there are not a opened one for me to do that, but this Zeiss lens didn't let me down. Seems big with my sony and it is expensive.
