    This len is on my camera 90% of the time . Fast focus. Wide enough for landscaping. I use this for night sky photos too.

    Very sharp in the center even wide open. A little softer in the corners but never unusable. OSS works great. Terrific colors and Micro Contrast. Lots of distortion and vignetting so using the Lens Compensation and Lens Profiles in Lightroom is a must.

    This lens is sharp at all the focal lengths. Well-made and sturdy. This is the lens lives on my camera (Sony-Alpha a7R2) all the time.

    This lens is definitely an upgrade over any kit lens. It carries the Zeiss name and even though it is not as wonderful as other Zeiss lenses I’ve used it is very good.

    Sony has really set a new precedent with their GM glass and this really showcases it. They've somehow figured out how to encapsulate all of the desirable optical qualities you'd get with a very good prime into a zoom. I decided to upgrade after getting frustrated by its slow AF during a recent trip.
