Great 4K TV. This TV has 4 HDMI Ports. 4k upconverter works wonderful and Wifi access with tones of streaming apps.

I had purchased this TV at the beginning of July, I used it for 4k streaming, gaming on all platforms and can hopefully provide some info on this unit. Despite the usual Sony Logic of native rate = 1/2 the XR flow, this TV is actually 60hz native refresh rate you can find that info from Sony's website directly (I would add the URL but that's against review guidelines). My 4k method was Netflix and Kodi. Netflix content looked great, even with the Motion Flow on I didn't notice much pixelation on action scenes. I tested this with Blacklist, Breaking Bad and the Moving Art 4k streams and all were very vibrant and detailed. For 1080p content and lower, I found the picture quality to be surprisingly good with the upscale. The picture quality for gaming looked great, colors were vivid and darks looked correct after I calibrated the color scales. No latency issues at all with gaming, PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U all displayed beautifully and were responsive. The built in speakers you will want to bypass with a sound bar otherwise it may be to quiet for some. The voice feature on the remote was very responsive, the build of the remote is basic with a rubberized bottom for grip. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent mid grade 4k. I did end up exchanging this for the X810C, granted it was last years model, it was less expensive, larger, and HDR is available from a firmware update. I only lost triluminous display which has not hindered the quality of my gaming or media experiences. Only other factors to note about the X800D is, since it is smaller it does not need as hefty of a base stand as the X810C, therefore it may feel flimsy but it is sturdy and I had no issues with wobble or concern for the TV falling over. The X800D is thinner so it has a power supply brick, with a short detachable cord, about 2ft, so you may need extensions depending on how you are setting up this TV. I'd recommend this or the X810C to anyone looking for a good midgrade 4k. Dont expect amazing sound out of any modern TV or a fancy remote, invest the money on a good sound system for your entertainment center, and if the remotes that terrible, it's a smart tv... download an app via tablet or smart phone that you like. Lastly, a TV out of box needs to be color calibrated, and you can find these resources by searching online. Your viewing environment will affect how you need to adjust these settings, simply setting up out of box you may not get the desired experience you were hoping for no matter what manufacturer you purchase from.
