I brought this for my vacation trip to Thailand and Vietnam and it was a good investment. The pictures came out clear and crisp. Its great for portraits and close up shots. I would recommend it for beginners

Best lens to upgrade after to you good with the kit len 16-50mm. Really good value for the money if can find them on sale. Amazing lens for video because image stabilization.

This is a super sharp lens. The focal length on the crop sensor makes it more like a 75mm but it works really well. Takes super sharp pictures. I would recommend this lens if you have the Nex lineup camera.

I purchased an open box lense but it still wrks great. The bokeh on this lens is phenomenal. You'll have to get used to having no zoom so you'll need to physically move forward/backward to zoom.

I entirely recommend this lens, once you have it is going to be hard to put it away, out of 3 lenses this is the one I use the most. Great images and shallow depth of field. Try it!

The bang for your buck! And it’s a Sony native Lens. Takes stunning photos even though the bokeh isn’t the best for the price can’t be beat. This goes on my a5100.

This lens for the price is amazing, the picture quality is perfect its great for close up shots for portraits and other close shots with slight blurry for objects in the distance.

This is a great economic e-mount lens to use with your Sony camera. You'll love doing portrait shots! It will give much better results than the kit lens for portraits.

Use this lense mostly for portraits as it offer great background blur. It also works great for night pictures. Nice and compact for use with Sony crop sensor cameras.

The build of this lens is amazing. I use it mainly for portrait photography and it has more than surpassedmy expectations. The F1.8 makes for good Bokeh. Would highly recommend.
