I bought the Sony A6000 and received the lens as part of a bundle. I love it, focus is great, so easy to change from one lens to another.

I have been looking into getting this lens for a few years. I've done lots of research and it is everything I need. I spend a lot of time doing nature photography and this fits with all my criteria.

This lens takes great pictures with the sonny camera. I love being able to take pictures of my children from a distance and they look likei was right there.

there are lots of reviews out there for this lens on reputable sites, so i will just add my approval to what they mostly say--for what you pay this is a nice lens. Obviously it isn't super-crisp crisp Zeiss glass--whether by Zeiss itself or by Sony to Zeiss specs--but it isn't that soft and really does the job well. My purchase was an especially good deal as I bought it on Black Friday as part of a package but was then able to return the rest of the package for an adjusted refund. Thanks, local Best Buy, for making it a painless process. A great addition for my NEX-6, soon to be an a6000

Great and easy to use for emount cameras for zooming in for long distance objects. Wish it had auto focus capability but that would raise th price. It came with the NEX 5t bundle and perfect pricing for what it worth.

Excellent auto-focus function. Sharp image around the periphery. Mount is especially easy to use. And Best Buy matched a good internet price I found!

The lens that is supplied with Sony Mirrorless Camera has limited zoom. This lens is great and is perfect accompaniment to the camera. Great price when bundled with camera - just $150 so can't go wrong.

Got a good deal when I bought my Sonya 6000. Only paid $200 bucks for this lens. Glad I did. Defiantly can capture a picture from far away.

This is my first lens to my camera kit as a sports photographer. It has a great range and diverse for use of photo/video. The OSS is great for shooting video outdoors.

It's my first experience with a "real zoom" This has some power - clear and close shots from all the way across the room. very cool

It is great for getting close to your target, but it does not have a power option so you have to turn the actual lenses like a traditional SLR.

I am a bwginner with this type of camera and with the zoom lense. and had no problems interchanging the lenses. Can't wait to take more pics.

I like the shade skirt that came with the lens . It responds well with my Sony 6003 a Can't beat it for the money ..

Easy to use & seems to be a good telephoto lens for beginners as I’m not very experienced but takes adequate pictures of the stage area during performances.

I bought this lens for our Alpha6100 to take on a family vacation. We have two Nikon DSLRs with long lenses but ever since we bought the Sony Alpha, it's been nearly impossible to justify lugging around the bulky Nikons. The only thing missing from the Alpha was a long lense. I have been very impressed with this product and it works astonishing well with the rapid shutter speed of the Alphas. I would say this was the proverbial nail-in-the-coffin for our two DSLRs.

I'm in no way a professional photographer and this is only my second lens for the Sony NEX-5t but I'm impressed by the long range the lens is able to capture. The handling of zooming is very manual (turning barrel so lens comes out) so it's kind of awkward holding a light camera with a very long lens, trying to capture your scene. I bought this with a bundle so it was significantly cheaper. I don't know if I'd purchase this lens full price though.
