I was on the fence about 4K tvs but after seeing this tv in the store and talking to a very knowledgeable associate I decided to purchase this tv. The only thing I can really say about the clarity of the picture is wow my wife said it's so clear it's like their in your living room with you.

for all the features it has plus picture, also motion rating. this tv rocks. love the natural look sony has vs others. The android tv I just hooked up my google home with it to command it. so awesome, I was reading also with google assistant coming soon with the new update, the tv will be technically another google home and can command things in your network.

Great picture clarity, set-up exceptionally neat, and perfect size.

The picture is great for the price, and the sound quality is very good, but the TV performance is sluggish when it comes to things like loading the home screen and switching between apps. Another example: if I'm watching something through Netflix and turn up the volume, the volume bar & numbers rarely show up and occasionally causes lag in the picture. But when I'm using a streaming devices (Fire Stick, Xbox, or Apple TV), it works just fine.

Took awhile to figure out the stand since the instructions were so vague and some of the parts were hidden in the packing foam. The set itself seems to perform quite well in terms of the picture. However, an accompanying sound system should be utilized since the sound from the TV needs to be turned up nearly all the way to be heard in a mid sized to large room.

Went to Best Buy on Black Friday planning to buy one of the Samsung TV's on sale for under $500. But, a sales associate told me that I might want to consider spending another few hundred dollars and upgrade to this Sony and get the sound bar. It was good advice. Good look, Great picture, updates software itself and I hope to be happy with it for several years.

I can't say much for the picture quality that would do it justice; just visit a Best Buy store to see how clear and crisp this display looks next to others. As for the sound... Let's be honest: you'll almost certainly be using external speakers with this tv. But for those few who are planning on using the built in speakers, prepare to be less than impressed.

Always have a preference for Sony TVs - usually the easiest to use, some of the longest-lasting hardware, and in today's world, more straight forward on information share policies. This one came with Android TV, which does force you to make an immediate decision at setup on if you are willing to give it away in a trade-off for a customized experience. Why not, Google already knows you better than your spouse/doctor/mother combination. Having the app store and an abundance of apps, including PlayStation Vue, is nice. Of course, that is still a standalone/non-integrated app, which is a tad odd. . Ultimately creates a one-stop entertainment shop and relegates ancillary sticks and streaming devices (esp those that are not 4k) obsolete. When turning the blind eye to info tracking, of course. The real issue itself if that the UI limits what you arrange and most importantly - does have a tendency to freeze and reboot from time to time. Yes, it is far advanced compared to the set you are likely replacing, but consumers get irritated by buggy experiences. Ultimately, I like and plan to keep. Here's hoping some software upgraded continue, and your TV avoids becoming another piece of tech that needs to be replaced every 2-3 years.
