However we were told this is standard in super flat TVs and the sound bar we got provides great sound

Great quality for the price and the 3D is great! I kept the box for a couple of weeks since I wasn't sure if I really want a Sony over a Samsung of the same range but after calibrating my Sony and watching 3D movies I knew I'm keeping this TV. Also works great for me on my Xbox One and PS4.

I got this tv as a replacement for another. I had a Samsung 46" 3D/smart/HDTV that way irreparable 18 months after purchase. I had a geek squad protection plan that covered the cost of this tv. Although they're both HDTV, I feel like this Sony tv presents a picture that has a noticeably superior quality. It's bright & sharp! Set up & mounting on the wall was easy. I have not used the android features, as I already have an Apple TV that I prefer. My only complaint would be that the tv doesn't come with any 3D active glasses. My Samsung came with 2! Not only did the Sony not come with them, but not a single Best Buy in my central Florida area had them. How can you carry a variety of 3D Sony tv's & not supply the glasses? I can't tell you the quality of the 3D image b/c it's going to take over a week to get a pair of glasses shipped to store for pick up!

I just received this TV a month ago and couldn't be happier! Setup was about as easy as it gets and picture quality is awesome. Linked with my Sony Blu-Ray and Surround Sound system it is like being in a small theater in The Man Cave. Buy it!

Everything from setup, installation to using the smart TV functions was straightforward, and relatively easy. The picture is well rounded and can be adjusted easily for different kinds of picture from the bright pictures like hockey, to dark movies and games. A very nice TV.

Had this TV professionally hung in my living room and it looks great and works even better! The TV itself looks like a work of art and the picture is crisp and clear. I have Roku and Firestick and AppleTV but the Smart aspect of this TV means I don't really need any of them.

This TV is a great deal! The 3d is awesome! Setup was a cinch! The picture and clarity is really good. It was easy to hook up all my accessories and my computer! We are very happy with our purchase! I would recommend this item!

I didn't need 4k because I don't have high speed internet, (Can't get it, have HughesNet which is NOT high speed), this TV is perfect. Great features, best picture as far as I'm concerned, easy to set up. I highly recommend it.

With all the 1/2 truth marketing and complicated tech munbo-jumbo, it's hard to know what's what with TVs these days. But, simply stated, this is a really good TV with very nice picture quality: smooth motion, black blacks and good color. No complaints.

Plug and play. Easy to set up, easy to use. Color and definition is excellent right out of the box.Controls and fine tuning to my taste was simple. Great purchase.

Had this thing for about a month and do far so good. It is feature packed and I like how readily accessible everything is. Once I dialed in the picture settings, it's one of the better 1080p LCDs I've seen but still not as good as plasma.

The 55" screen is perfect size for the space, great picture for all types of watching (including sports) and the built in Smart TV has (re)introduced Netflix and all the other online content to the family.

I read a lot of reviews before settling down with Sony's Android SMART TV. Picture quality is great all though the auto dim is too dramatic for me but you can turn this off. The system when switching from apps is a little slow but the features and selection of apps are amazing. High speed works great, streams NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, I-Heart Radio, and Google Play apps great! Next I will get the PS4 controller to play games on the TV. So far great TV for price.

I was leaning towards the 4K but this tv looks as good or better ! Saved hundreds of dollars !! Smooth fast on applications! A lot better than my Samsung smart tv! I would highly recommend this tv !!

I love the screen quality of this product and was thrilled to obtain it online at a great Black Friday price. Easy to install and set up. But then it stopped working after only 5 days. Several calls to Sony's Customer Service line resulted in broken promises and an offer to deliver a new power supply in 7-10 days! That's totally unacceptable, especially during the holidays. So I went to my local Best Buy store, explained the situation, and arranged for a replacement TV to be delivered and installed by the Geek Squad. The speaker quality of the TV is not as good as anticipated, but the picture is great, especially for sports. I highly recommend the product, but only if you buy from Best Buy! Sony's customer service department is not to be trusted.

I love this tv, my favorite feature is Football mode which give pure live to the colors and everything is more realistic!!!

Hands down, the best TV I've ever purchased. Great picture. Great service from Best Buy in choosing this since I asked them for the best price on a 55" TV, and they sure came through for me! I love this TV! I also purchased a Sony sound bar and it was awesome. They work very well together. A must-have TV!

I went to the store to look at two OTHER brands that were "highly recommended" by Consumer Reports. (The Bravia was coming in third or fourth at best.) In person, those other brands had really lousy picture quality and looked grainy and washed out. This Sony Bravia looked the best to me, with a really nice crisp screen and dark rendition. The SmartTV features on this set are really nice. We are streaming HD movies and television from the Amazon Prime app. It is incredible!

The TV is overall a great tv. Looks good, has a great picture, awe some refresh time. My only reserve is how quiet the speakers are, you really have to crank it up to hear anything.

I spent hours looking at ratings, reviews etc until I finally purchased this TV. I didn't think anything could replace my old Plasma TV that finally gave out but I have to tell you this is the closest TV that came anywhere within it and about one quarter of what a Plasma TV starts at. This TV has the same great qualities. The picture is sharp, the colors are brilliant, the sound is great. I couldn't be happier about the purchase and another great thing is that it is a 4k so when my service provider is ready to go, I will be to. It is definitely a win win situation.
