Great picture at any signal resolution. Amazing picture at full 1080p signal. Color and resolution gorgeous.

It's super thin and lightweight!!! The picture quality for the price I paid is more than a steal!!! You would think it's a much higher end model. The color isn't as vivid as the Samsung I used to have, but it's much better in every other way!!! I LOVE that it is compatible with my 3D glasses; sound bar/subwoofer and 3D blu Ray. All Samsung products. I had a Samsung smart remote, but it wasn't compatible. I'd give it a 4.5, the color just needs to be a bit more bold. AWESOME 2015 3D tv & highly compatible!!!

Sony does not disappoint. I can't find anything wrong with the TV. Great picture easy set up. satisfied

I can't comment on the 3D because I haven't used it yet (doesn't come with the necessary active 3D glasses) but otherwise this Sony TV has been great. Excellent picture after tinkering with the settings (and abandoning auto contrast) and really easy android interface. Sound is fine but a sound bar or home theater option is needed to do the picture justice.

This tv has great picture quality. If you game (ps4 like me), size is great even when playing with friends. Sound quality is not as great as it should be but it's good enough for me. Internet connectivity works well and apps on a tv is a must now n days. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

Love the color and the picture. The size was not big 55. The TV stands nice on the stand I purchased.

Television has a great picture and the apps are easily accessible via the remote control and it works really well, especially if you have other Sony components whether it's their BluRay player, etc. XBox One also works well as the TV senses when different components are activated and it switches automatically, and if you have DirecTV and the Genie it has the software built in where you don't even need an additional box. Very pleased.

This TV is awesome period. Add the price in, and it's even better. You can't find a better picture than this one. I do recommend a sound bar with it though. And, be aware that if your channels are not HD, you will notice a difference. But the picture quality is stunning. This size (the 55 in) is gorgeous. It rivals bigger units. The TV is also very thin TV. I love that about it. It looks great and it produces a great picture.

In 2008 we put Sony digital Tv's in all 3 bedrooms...they are just fantastic even today. We went to best buy to measure Tv's to fit a new tv hutch my wife bought. Turns out this tv was the largest size that would fit...and it does perfectly. The salesman seemed to like LG better...and it was about 1/2 the money....but stayed with Sony and we are glad we did. This is a really nice TV, which it should be for money.

The TV has good picture quality. A ton of features that i use. My Playstation functions off of the TV remote automatically, which i think is awesome. The sound however could be improved. I feel like I have to turn it up way high to be able to hear it well. Where as my old Samsung TV, same exact features when turned up to 20 was perfectly loud enough. Where this TV I turn it up to 40 to get the same volume. Only downfall of the TV. Otherwise I like everything else.

Very fast operation and smooth WiFi connection can go from Netflix to Playstation TV in seconds and never experience lag. The picture quality is next to 4K you feel like your right looking through a window. The only thing I would change is the sound. It's great however could be a little louder at lower levels. I plan to buy the sound bar to take care of that. Overall great TV I'd recommend to buy this TV

Overall its a great TV, but the 3D is not good .The picture quality is excellent but the remote kinda sucks.

Got this as a family room TV and I didn't feel like a 4K screen was necessary. Great image and it looks great in the room with the thin metal edge surround. The images appears to go all the way to the edge of the screen.

Best TV ever, the picture and sound are both perfect and I love the ease of use.

This is a TV you must consider if you are not running after the 4K trend. Since there is not a lot of 4 K sources this 1080p is GOOD ENOUGH to make your holiday special. If you are a PS4 gamer this TV is for you - awesome picture without breaking your bank plus it's sleek and stylish with the thin black bezels - feels and looks like bezel -less .
