    I purchased this 55" TV to use as a monitor. I also wanted to watch football games. As a monitor, it is great. As an action TV it is the worst. I've tried everything from adjusting their motion to turning it off. Nothing helped. So what I really have is a monitor only.

    It is good for our price range, but not as good as the top of the line Bravia OLED. The picture isn't as crisp as it looked in the store, but we knew that going into the purchase.

    Terrible Quality

    We bought this tv because we liked the way it looked in the store. We hooked it up last night and were shocked by how dark the picture was. The Home Screen Guide was so dark we could barely see the movies offered and couldn't read anything unless we got up and walked up to the tv. It said if you wanted it brighter to turn off the power saver option (I'm pretty sure that's what it was called). So we did that and it got so bright it hurt the eyes. We had the same problem with the tv picture. Everything was bizarrely dark and when we turned up the brightness, it was so bright whenever there was anything light on the screen (like the sky or a light background), that it hurt the eyes. The color was horrible, alternating between overly bright, unnatural colors and a muted lack of color. Then every so often the picture blurred for a split second when just watching a regular movie (not fast action). No matter what the picture brightness was set at, it would suddenly jump lighter or darker on its own. I think we just got a lemon but I don't know. We had our old Sony Bravia 1080p for sixteen years and LOVED it all the way up until it died a few days ago. My husband just left to take this one back and we wouldn't buy another, so the search goes on.

We really wished we could turn your opinion around regarding our BRAVIA 7. It is recommended to turn off the Power Saver Option and adjust Picture Settings (brightness and contrast) by checking this link:

    Sony Bravia 7 failed after 1 hour of use!!

    Didn’t seem to be right right from the start, after going through all of the startup phases the tv went out of focus then the screen got fuzzy with blue vertical lines and then went dark, tv would not turn on after that. Best Buy took it back and then I purchased a Samsung, sorry Sony!!

    I drove 38miles to get open box certificate inspected. Surprise Missing parts, fingerprints , no batteries I got crap Customer service clueless, from India o china .you lost a customer thanks

    The picture quality of this TV is stunning having upgraded from a Sony X900H. The black levels are on par with an OLED, colors are alive and beautiful. The sound is clean and magnificent. Gaming is excellent on this TV, movies are surprisingly stunning. If this TV is in your price range definitely get it.

    Sony does it again

    I came from a Sony 1080p tv. It was over 13 years old and it went. Enough of that here is my review. The picture is sharp and bright. Very easy setup. Viewing is good. Paired the tv with a Bravia Theater Bar 8, so I can’t say much about the sound. This tv is perfect for watching movies and playing ps5. Great value, you won’t be disappointed. This mini LED is worth every penny.

    Great picture quality. Won't be disappointed there. But little things like tiny, poor context text or requiring you to log into a Google account to cast to your TV. Why? I don't want to use Google TV, so trying to force me. This isn't changing that, it just makes me need to create a throwaway account.

    Mistake after mistake.

    This was the most diappointing purchase I've made in 25 years, due to the inefficient way the online purchase was handled. The tv finally arrived a week late, and is fine. The paperwork that wasn't handled properly, the emails that I was told I would get didn't come, so all the phone calls to diiferent online people were a waste. And I never did receive the set up that I had paid for but have been told the fee would be refunded. What I wanted was not are refund at the time, but someone who would set the tv and sound bar up properly. That never happened.

    Don't ever buy a Sony Bravia TV

    Horrible experience with Sony and Bravia. After 18 months and very little usage the screen broke after the least amount of ever so slight pressure to pick up the TV. Of course we are out of warranty and are stuck with one of the most expensive TVs on the market that is now useless
