The picture quality is stunning. The blacks are perfect as expected with an OLED screen and the brighter colors are top notch even in bright light but really shine at night. Any content with Dolby Vision is jaw dropping. The built in Android TV works fantastically with YouTube, Prime Video, HBO, Showtime, and Netflix. The Netflix calibrated mode feature combined with 4K shows featuring Dolby Vision really showcase why you're spending this much on a TV.

I've owned this TV 5 months now and it has been working flawlessly. I use this TV for everything - PS4, streaming shows, and watching 4k movies. Although I find the picture quality really good, I'm not completely blown away with 4k movies. The HDR definitely helps to make the picture more vibrant though. I think an OLED is better in the picture quality category but I honestly didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars more to be at that picture quality level. The only negative I can really give is the user interface can be sluggish and laggy at times. I use a Roku Ultra so this only happens now when I am toggling between different picture modes or other settings. Overall I am very happy with the TV, but it's definitely lacking in the "wow" factor when it comes to 4k movies (at least to me).

This is my third Sony TV and the best so far. My others have been relegated to others areas of my home, not because of performance but because we want to increase screen size. The picture quality is amazing even run through my Sony Home Theater Amp. The Smart TV features work well and the voice recognition feature is spot on. This is a great TV producing outstanding picture and sound for the two years that I have owned it.

This TV has been incredible so far. Had it nearly a year, and it's picture quality still impresses me. While not an OLED, it still manages to get pretty close to black. We can actually see what happens in the battle at Winterfell on this TV. Not only can it produce quality images with heavily dark scenes, but it can also nearly blind you because it has all the nits. It's frame rate upscaling is very fluid and I can hardly tell it's happening. Sound is a little shallow though still good, but I never expected great sound from TV speakers. Only problem is the occasional misbehaving of apps. Nothing a simple Force Stop or restart couldn't resolve, and it's only happened a handful of times.

My movies and games look so much better with this television. Now I want to repurchase all the movies I own in 4K HDR just to rewatch them with vibrant colors and high resolution. I am playing games I've already completed all over again just to see them again in HDR. This TV makes everything look so good! I love Sony... they know what they are doing when it comes to displays

I was originally looking into buying an OLED TV but those are outrageously priced. I have one of Sony's first model 4k TVs and the picture looked great but the HDR on it isnt the greatest. I was gonna buy an LG because I heard the HDR is good on them. But then I researched this TV, the X900F. It has Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR 10. The blacks look really black. The colors look incredibly bright. The panel is vastly improved over the previous models. With the 120 HZ refresh rate the movements are smooth and no motion blur. I'm truly impressed. I looked up professional reviews of this TV, like CNET, engadget, BGR etc, and they had great reviews for this. They said that TV is about 80 to 90% as clear as an OLED screen (depending on media) and let me tell you that it is. Amazing TV.

This TV is not in Sony's pro model line, but provides a professional picture. The sound is excellent, the picture is excellent. The remote works great if you don't have any thing connected with it, like a sound system or cable, but if you have to turn on multiple devices, the remote is lacking.

I like my new Sony 900F. I originally tried a LG OLED and didn't like the Black Crush issue. I came to find out that all OLEDs have this problem. Sony 900F improves and provides a little more detail in Black on Black scenes. I wish they had a better Handset for internet and Apps... like LG with a pointer. But, it is acceptable. Still, I don't think LED provides the picture I would like. Not Sony's fault. I guess I was spoiled by my old Panasonic Plasma. Oh, for the good old days!

Originally was intent on an LG OLED but had concerns over mounting, and then looked at Samsung QLED's and didn't like the one connect box. A very pleasant and knowledgeable Best Buy employee asked if I had ever considered these Sony's. Ending up getting both the TV and soundbar for less than the price of a comparable Samsung QLED. Can't see how any picture could be better and the deal was great. Thanks Best Buy!

Great picture, easy to use, love it. The remote is a little awkward but very good tv.

Upgraded from a plasma TV. The color and detail are outstanding. Cannot believe how much brighter the picture is than the plasma was. Sound is very good. The remote is a little complicated, too many buttons. Also buttons on the remote are too small for my big fingers. The manual could be more informative, haven't been able to figure out control by voice. That said we are happy with the TV.

I bought this TV after trying the Sammy Q7F, the X900 has great color accuracy and motion handling. The fact that it has full array display lighting makes it excellent for HDR. I also like that it supports both HDR formats: HDR10 and Dolby Vision.

This TV is excellent and miles above the model I purchased 3 years ago. The Bravita Model Series is something I would swear by now with two of these TVs in my house from these two generations. If you want a high end 4K Smart TV without paying top dollar, Sony is the reasonable and reliable choice.

I have installed and set up quite a number of the x900e models, from the 55" up to the 75" and every one has been top notch. The x900f continues this. Contrast ratio, black levels, shadow detail, color saturation and accuracy are some of the best I.ve seen. You might do a little better with an OLED, but it would be hard to justify the price for the marginal return. Get one!

This is a great smart tv. the color is superb, much more natural color tones than other televisions in its class. Setup was relatively easy. Voice control works well and once you get used to all the features, content is more than you can handle. A little higher price but well worth it. My last Sony lasted 13 years hoping to get the same mileage on this one

Easy set up with YouTube TV and Apple TV. Fantastic pix and sound right out of the box. Havent figured out yet how to integrate my TV with my old acoustimass 10, but that has nothing to do with this TV Don’t think you can get a better value at this price (under $1300). You can get a better picture, but it will nearly double the price you will pay.

This Sony 55" TV is quite a marvel as it has crisp colors and deep blacks that contrast very well. It has performed flawlessly. I had mine installed by Best Buy Geek Squad and Lucas was spot on with the neat, level, and set up necessary to get this up and running. I would recommend this model to you if you are serious about an upgrade like me.

The picture is fantastic! I purchased the Sony X900F to replace my 9 year old Samsung. I was going to purchase another Samsung, but the Best Buy blue shirt showed me the Sony and I am sure glad he did. The picture on the Sony was so much better. The contrast is awesome and motion blur is minimal. The is a lot of TV for the money.
