Excellent picture quality. Great for a variety of broadcasts: TV, movies, live action sports. Great TV styling as well.

Good picture quality but bit expensive. Having issues with Denon AV reeiver (X1100). It is not compatible 4k HDCP 2.2.

This 4K TV is an upgrade from the 1080 predecessor. I have a large bedroom and the extra clarity is nice for the viewing distance. The bedroom is 17ft x 17ft so no matter how we rearrange the bed, the TV is clear and easy to view.

This tv is a great choice, crystal clear picture, sound however needs improvement. Kinda forced to buy a sound bar.

This is a great TV for LED. The blacks are surprisingly decent and fairly balanced unless you're really looking for it.

Set-up and programming was easy. We're enjoying the 55" screen with excellent clarity and the quality of sound.

same old (best) Sony picture I have become used to over the last 25 years

This TV like all Sonys has a nice picture, but with the abbreviated connections it means I had to buy a bunch of adapters to connect my hearing aid amplifiers. Are old Sony had RCA connectors, now all they give you is a 3.5mm mini plug. Add all the crap built in and total lack of a decent instruction manual makes it very tough for the average person to get setup and working.

We're very happy with the TV. We still have one issue, however. The sound bar does not always turn on when you turn on the TV. Also, if you put the TV on pause for about 15 minutes, the sound bar times out and needs to be turned on manually. This is a sporatic issue, and probably not a TV issue. Otherwise, 5 stars!

It’s a good picture at times. But the blooming is just as bad as people talk about. Sony did this on purpose no reason why it should have blooming with the tv’s capabilities. I would have returned it but I was outside the window. Skip this tv

Bought the tv and realized it wasn’t big enough. Picture is very good! Bought a 65” and no w I’m much happier.

Really good picture and great for movies. Live sports are good too, but regular TV watching is just so so imo

Great tv with an amazing operating system. I did have to return the first one because the screen was cracked from the inside Dropped during delivery?). I do believe it is a little overpriced for a 55' but it is well built and i believe it will last a very long time

I purchased this to upgrade an older Vizio, and I have been extremely happy with it. When playing my PS4 Pro the 4k on this tv makes everything look ridiculously detailed and awesome. Best TV I have ever owned.

No no and no. I previously bought Sony 800D and it was a great introduction to 4K TVs! So much so that I was willing to only commit to Sony TVs. It's been about 3 years and it's still running like new When it was time to upgrade, I bought this Sony 900F and even the the picture was phenomenal, I could not get past the extremely laggy , slow, and temperamental Android software. I was aware of this before I bought it (I watch a lot of YouTube videos before making these big purchases) however I wanted to give it a chance since my 800D Android UI worked perfectly. Even after the update, it may have gotten worse. There is something about that generation of Sony that Sony overlooked and missed the mark on. I wanted a good deal so I bought the comparable Samsung 8 series . I hear the newer Sony 900s are just fine. My advice is Skip This Specific Model Year! You'll thank yourself later!

as always you won't go wrong with an upper end Sony. I've been running a Sony tv sense 2005 and the 4 that I have bought still work just like they did new. definitely spend the extra money and you won't be sorry

Love this TV, all my Sony devices works with one remote and picture quality is great. TV needs Sound Bar...

Picture quality is great and contrasts and color is amazing!! OS is a little clunky which is why 4 stars.

Researched 55” TVs for about a month. I though I had the tv I wanted picked out. The rep at Best Buy pointed out the Sony had more features and a more powerful processor for the same price as the LG I though I wanted. We’ve loved the x900f Sony since day one.

Looked around for several days. I then decided to purchase this one based on reviews and the superior quality over other manufacturers’ models. I had a Samsung tv before this one. Very happy with the TV.
