Great 4K TV

The 120hz really does make a difference and make it a great pick for gamers. Sound is OK but I upgraded with Sony HT-S400 2.1ch Soundbar wich is fantastic.

Great tv even with software issues

Constantly has terrible connection despite being connected to fiber WiFi and even when a movie or show does load its at 720p quality. That being said, I have resorted to using my PS5 for everything and this TV could not be more perfect for that! 120hz refresh and the magical integration with the two Sony products is the main reason I bought this tv and i couldn’t be happier! Of course OLED is all the rage, but for hundreds of dollars less this tv still provides gorgeous graphics and once you start using the higher refresh rates you can’t go back.

Thank you for the review and we're glad to hear that you like the 120hz refresh rate of the TV. Try to power reset both TV and internet router. It is recommended that the TV and router be at least 1 meter (3 feet) apart. The network speed may slow down if other devices download large-sized files, such as videos. Cancel or wait until this activity completes and try again. Also, if multiple wireless devices or electric equipment, such as microwave ovens, are used at home, it may affect the Wi-Fi performance of your TV. Power off these devices when not in use, or keep them away from your TV.

It has a beautiful picture and just as importantly a clear crisp wonderful built in sound system( who is my last TV (Samsung) was lacking. Very user friendly. My only complaint is that it went on sale ( Black Friday )shortly after I bought it. I didn’t notice until it was past 2 weeks later

So off to Best Buy I went to look for a replacement. I did some research and also spoke with the staff and narrowed my choice to the Sony X85K. I am very pleased with this tv. Great TV, but beware…

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We recently purchased our 55” X85K simply for the 4K @ 120hz for a decent price point (at least for a Sony product) for our Xbox One X. HOWEVER, come to find out after hours of trial and error and research that this TV does not support 4K UHD @ 120hz, even with an ultra high speed HDMI cable using the correct HDMI ports. It only supports either 1080p @ 120hz or 4K UHD @ 60hz (for the Xbox One X). It’s a beautiful TV, don’t get me wrong, but it doesn’t do the one feature I literally paid for it to do. Extremely disappointed.

A Great TV worth spending a few extra $$$ on.

After spending some time with a very knowledgeable salesperson, I chose to go with this unit even though it was originally more than I wanted to spend. The picture is beyond clear and crisp, and the color is as close to actual as I have seen with most TVs. The sound I thought I was going to be disappointed with, but I am not at all. One of the other top selling points. The Google OS!! My newest 75" Samsung tv that I spent a bundle on and was part of my home automation, decided they didnt want to play nice with Google and removed the Google Voice from it.

Picture quality is excellent. The smart TV interface is also excellent. I was expecting the software to be sluggish but to my surprise, it’s very responsive and quick. Had an easy time setting it up Although it didn’t fit in my car so I had to borrow a friends. I did a lot of research when I decided to pick up a new TV. All of the reviews online said that I would not be sorry if I went with Sony and they were right. Very satisfied with my purchase.
