Sony has the best picture quality, but I don't like the fact that it sony has decided run the android platform on there TV. I guess this will be the last one I purchase being that i already had an issue with it. So I won't be using the android part of the TV.

This TV is advertised as the slimmest on the market. It looks great on the wall, if you properly plan for it. More importantly, how does it function? Well, the UHD looks great with high speed internet. And the Smart TV functionality is easy to learn and use.

    Great design, bad light bleeding

After reading about the light bleeding issues on this model I had spoken to a Sony rep at Best Buy and was told that Sony was aware of the problem, had a recall and fixed the issue. The 1st tv that I got was made in Sept. 2015 and it had bleeding issues on the bottom right corner and ghosting while watching 3D movies. Took it back and got another one that was made in Feb. of this year and the light bleeding was worst. Long story short I returned the 900C and picked up a LG 65UF8600 (which is HDR compatible thru a update) no more light bleeding issues

The picture is great. Much smoother than our last Sony 3D tv. No seat in the family room is a bad seat. Great tv that doesn't break the bank.

Great at first, 2 months later, problems

Walked into BestBuy in Lynnwood looking to buy a Samsung. The sales person showed me the Sony and made a case for it. After about an hour of talking and going over the features, etc.. Decided to by the 900c. I didn't research it before buying, but after reading the reviews, here I see I should have. I brought it home, and noticed a little light bleed, but didn't think much of it as my previous tv had some serious light bleed. I thought that went with the territory. A month later, things were going well, got rid of the box. Now 1 day shy of 2 months, I have a white vertical line centered on the tv, light bleed all along the bottom and the corners. I will say I noticed the edges first and the bottom most recently. Called BestBuy to see what my options were, and was told, I need to work directly with Sony. Called Sony, of course they are closed on a Saturday. I have bought TVs ever since BestBuy moved into the area, spent thousands, and I am really regretting doing business now with them. It would be nice to do business with a store that believes in long term partnerships and support, not just the quick sale. So now I need to spend my time figuring out if it can be "repaired' or if I should just recycle it and eat the $2,000+ plus. Yes I could have bought an extended warranty for a device that is only 2 months old, but the 20 + years of buying TVs, I have never needed to exercise a warranty within 12 months.

Couldn't decide between this and the LG OLED. Ended up sticking with SONY as they have always been good to me over the years. A little bit of bleed in the corners, but the trade off for the live game picture makes it tolerable.

About 6 weeks ago I upgraded my Samsung 1080p to the Sony 4k XBR-65X900C. I had narrowed the choice between the Samsung 4k and this Sony model and decided on the Android OS in the Sony. From a picture quality perspective, I am totally pleased with this choice. The Android OS that Sony put in the television could be enhanced considerably. There's no browser so there's no way to display videos that may be included in news stories or other links. Overall, though, I am very pleased with the purchase.

The Sony TV is awesome. Great picture and any and every app you can think of. It gets even better because I bought a Sony sound bar to go with the TV and the theatre sound is awesome.! No technical issues

The best looking ultra slim TV, turned ON/OFF. The color is well balance with limited color distortion on the edges. It's hardly noticeable unless you are looking for it. The installation is fairly simple with the picture frame type bracket that was included with the TV. Saves 150.00-200.00. The only complaint is the limited space allowed for cables to sit between the wall and TV. Ended up having to put in a 2x4 wood piece to push the upper part of TV away from the wall to allow cables to rest in place below. Sony should re-think this part of the design in future models. Fortunately, for me, the 2x4 does not show because the sides are not visible but kidda defeats the purpose of a super thin TV.

This TV really has stunning resolution, but the light bleed from the lower two corners was too strong to ignore. Decided to go with OLED instead.

After I bought the tv I checked the reviews and I found out tha the first lot of tv was defective. the defect of these television was detected in the 2 nd quarter of the year. I bought my tv on November and I was under the impression that all the defective Tv were remove from the Best Buy stores. What was my surprise when I found out that my Tv was from the defective lot and when I installed it it has problems. We had to packed pack the tv and take it back to the store to change it for a new one. Before taking home the new tv, we asked the people from BB to check it did not have problems. Now we are using the tv and is really nice.

After shopping around and comparing the major brads, I settled on this TV due to cost and picture quality. The picture this TV produces when you correct the settings will blow you away, even on upscaling. Now, the reason I didn't give it a 5th star is the issue with the light bleed along the bottom. MI email isn't bad and doesn't distract me but it is there. I think Sony needs to fix this in future models.
