It took awhile for the 4k Netflix app to come out. About 6 months. Android TV and its apps are worth the extra money compared to older models. A lot of features. It does take about 2-3 hrs to perform the software update and configure the settings. Buy the x850c instead of the 850b. I like VLC, YouTube, and Netflix app. Disappointed that you cannot mirror with iOS devices. I like how most iOS Tv channel apps can sync with TV and using the iPad as a remote is cool too. Playing from sub stick or external drives is another cool feature. It's pretty much a computer built in. Google just took hdtvs to another level. Owned TV for about a month and it's locked up once. It didn't accept any video signal, so I had to unplug the TV and plug it back in.

Wow!!! Wowee!! Spectacular. Replaced my 65" Vizzio and the comparison is not ever close. This TV rocks in every category, period!!

I bought this on the aftermath of Black Friday 2015. I decided to buy 4k coz I know we are now on that level. Our eyes have trained for high dynamic, great quality images. I use this as a device than a Tv. Since it runs android I can do some tasks interactively like I am using a tablet. Choosing between brands, I chose Sony over Samsung because I have several sony gadgets. Both brands produces great 4k Tv.

Picture quality is great and the set appears to function as advertized. We really do enjoy the set. However, the documentation provided for the setup and navigation was terrible! The interface is not really intuitive and the reference materials provided were not much much help. The network setup did not connect initially and neither the written manual or the online info was very helpful. After about a month we still find it difficult navigating to some of the functions, or to find the info on how to use them. Overall, we really like the set but are surprised and disappointed with Sony's documentation and online info.

After comparing many brands and models, this was the best picture for the size of TV. It did not have any history of light bleed and very minor dark spots in corners. At first it was very noticeable but this was because I would focus in the corners while watching. After a week, I didn't notice it as much and after 2 weeks, well not important. Overall, I would recommend Sony and the size of TV for the money.

I did some research, and ended up replacing a 65" Vizio with this television. So far, there is no comparison. Easy hook-up (don't forget your 4K hdmi cable), easy set-up. The difference in the non-4K display as compared to the Vizio was obvious. Checked it out on Netflix 4K content - awesome picture! Speakers are okay, but I use a Bose sound bar, so that's not very important to me. I have yet to hook-up the blue-ray player or try the 3D, so I won't comment on how those look, and I'm holding back on 5 stars because I need to see this over a longer period of time. So far, however, I am pleased with this television.

I recently upgraded from a 63" Samsung plasma 8000 series. I was worried about my new 65" Sony being able to impress me since I was spoiled by such a nice picture on the Samsung. But the Sony didn't disappoint! I love this TV and am very impressed with how my blu rays and ps4/Xbox one games look. I would definitely purchase this TV again!

After looking at 4 of the top brands, this Sony seemed to have the best picture for the price. The others were very good but the pictures were a bit over the top. Of course, it is difficult to judge from the displays in the stores as the manufacturers apparently furnish 4K video to show the TV's capabilities. We have been very pleased.

Beautiful TV. 4K video is amazing. I haven't used the 3D features yet but it up scales regular programming nicely. Buy this TV

Did a lot of pre-purchase research and have always had good success with Sony. Looked at Samsung and LG too but decided on Sony due to past success and picture quality. Awesome TV. Movies, sports are great on this thing! Geek Squad did a great job coming in taking out old (heavy) TV and got me set up in less than 90 minutes. Great guys! Really pleased with purchase. Price dropped $200 2 days after I bought it. Went in, showed receipt and they credited my account. No hassles and got the credit.

I just upgraded from a very small, very cheap old TV and decided to go upmarket by a long ways. I was really happy with the service I got in selecting the TV and love this TV now. My only "issue" is on the system installs, sometimes it seems like the download has frozen, but really it just takes a while and the TV has no movement. Other than that, great investment piece as hopefully more channels go 4K.

This is a nice, first 4K TV. It has many nice features and good black levels. I did have to change some of the output settings on the feeding devises to help with some motion jitter, but overall a nice TV. It does not compare to the higher end TVs like OLED and 9000 series Samsung, so dont compare it to them. This TV is my second Sony and is everything that I expected. I did have a problem with the power unit, but Best Buy exchanged it without any problems. They also lowered the price of the TV two weeks after I purchased mine, and the gave me the difference back, $210. Great customer service!

I've had my TV for a few weeks and I love it so far. It's beautiful, has a great picture quality and the customer service at BestBuy handled the issue I had very professionally. The first TV that was delivered had a little issue in the top left corner (nothing to do with the screen) and most people would've brushed it off and not said anything. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and wanted it to be perfect so the delivery people left me the TV with the issue (since I had verizon coming and needed the TV to set up my cable) and came back a few days later to deliver a second one and haul away the first.

Picture quality is top class..although I do find that since this is moreover a giant computer, there is sometimes a slight delay in getting to and switching between different modes/screens. So, to go from TV to Home button is a tad slow, but not much. Over all great TV and entertainment source with YouTube app already built in.

We have had this TV for a little over a month and have fallen in love with it. I cannot tell you any of the details on the screen resolution or any of the technical details, however I can tell you that the picture seems clean, clear, and very sharp. What has been most impressive is the built in app center. My wife binge watches Netflix while feeding our child, and she finds it very easy to use. Our 10 year old loves being able to use the voice search to browse YouTube videos.

This tv is very complete. It looks beautiful, the picture is amazing, the sound is phenomenal, and it has great features.

Great picture quality. and easy to install! If you are not connecting to a surround system., i would recommend getting a sound bar. The built in speakers are weak.

Well after the "Should we buy a $2300.00 TV we did. It turned out to he a great purchase. The 1st several days I was going to take it back, pixelation. Then I received the 1st software update (30 min+) TV looked great. We've had 2 updates 2nd for adding APPs and programing. Keep in mind, do this when you have time for your TV to be down for 30 min +. Easy navigation, good remotes and we think Great color with easy tunimg. You will be connected to the internet 24/4 so keep that in mind.
