Remote

I was extremely pleased with my purchase until today when i realized the remote is no longer working. Only the power on/off button works. I took the batteries out that were provided and put in different ones, it gave me maybe 5 seconds more of functionality, then stopped. An option came up to restart the tv….but couldn’t choose that cause the remote doesn’t work. Really hoping I can get this resolved and it won’t be an ongoing problem.
