Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is really not even close to being worth what it cost. It was a lot of work to get it home, unboxed, and set up, to now decide that I want to return it. I can't believe Sony is selling such a product. The Google aspect of it is worthless. It was a pain in the butt to connect Sonos speakers (also wouldn't recommend them as it's definitely not as good as a true surround sound). You cannot be in the middle of a movie and go into settings on the TV, because there's no way to get back to the movie... you have to click Home and then start the movie again. It goes to a black screen that says no channel stored and I've tried changing that setting with no luck. There are lots of different options in the menus that are grayed out. The HDMI input settings are weird. It doesn't have eARC. The picture quality is no better than that of a $300 TV. These are just a few of the things that I can think of right off hand. I am so disappointed!

Posted .Hi BadBadBad, we're genuinely sorry to hear about the multiple inconveniences you've faced with the Sony - BRAVIA 3. We understand how frustrating this must be. We'd like to share with you some steps that can help in resolving the issues you've experienced.
1- You do the have the option to go into settings while watching the movie and then come back. While you're watching the movie you can press the Quick settings button (gear icon on the remote) and then access settings, and if you want to go back to the movie, you can press the back button (Curved arrow pointing to the left on the remote). Then the movie or show should be able to resume.
2- The "No channels stored" message is because you may be pressing the TV button on the remote. This button by default is set to display the Antenna input, and if you do not have an antenna connected it will display the message "No channels stored". If you'd like to change this and make the TV button to display another input, you can go to Settings > channels and inputs > TV button shortcut > select the desired input
3- The TV does have an eARC port. That is located at the back of the TV on the HDMI 3 port. You can verify this by looking at your Startup Guide: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/5057/308b7c36e4e42834d642b02bf8e21001/50579321M.pdf
4- In regards to the picture quality, the TV allows you to customize the picture settings to your preference so you can find the best one that fits your needs. Here is a guide on how to do it: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00190409?utm_source=glean
Also we'd like to share with you a Help Guide that will help you in connecting external devices and will explain the different settings and options available in the TV. You can check that in here:

We really appreciate your feedback and truly hope that these steps help you to understand how the TV works and resolve the multiple issues you've had. If you still require further help our technical team is available through the link below:

Need to reset every time I turn it on
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a Samsung customer for many years. This time I tried Sony. The Image at the store looks good. Later I connected everything in home. Seems okay. Then sadly next day when I turned on the brightness it was extremely high. I reset it thinking will fix the issue. It did. Until next day turned again and it was the same issue. I decided to return it. And got a Samsung again. Also I don’t like the google in the tv. Sorry Sony.

Color dull
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a nice TV however, the picture is not as crisp and vivid as my last Bravia television. It seems to have a yellowish orange tint. I would recommend this TV to others as it is a nice television for the money. No

Had this tv for only a month and it is not worth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this tv on March 21 and since then the tv has been glitching and giving us sound but a black screen when we are on the YouTube app. It happened about 6 times since we bought it. Then today we were not able to see anything on the screen for every app until we unplugged it. I don’t like this tv because of it. It’s on the pricier end and is Sony so I was expecting more but I am disappointed. Will be returning because we don’t want to keep unplugging the tv every time we want to watch.

Great picture but horrible TV WIFI
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture but horrible TV. This TV drops WIFI constantly and seemingly no fix from Sony (I am very tech savvy). I have tried everything and no luck. I have been using my mobile hot spot as a work around but now I am selling the TV, will never buy a Sony again. I have a cheaper TCL Google TV and it works perfectly with my WIFI.

Total disappointment
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely the most horrible investment I have ever made. I would never ever ever buy other Sony product after buying this TV. It constantly loses connection, and is an absolute resource hog, and it runs extremely slowly and can’t maintain connection to a router. Additionally, I have a very fast fiber connection with frontier and it does not work at all half the time. Total disappointment in this TV.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv disconnects from surround sound every time I turn on. So I have to unplug and plug surround sound back up for it to connect again. I often also have to unplug tv because when trying to play a movie or something picture and sound delays. It’s irritating having to do this every time. I watch tv.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback on the BRAVIA 3, ErikC. We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your TV disconnecting from your surround sound and having to frequently reset your system. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the sound and delay issues:
1. Perform a power reset of your TV and soundbar or audio system. Turn off both devices, disconnect the power cords, leave them disconnected for two minutes, then reconnect the power cords and turn on your TV first followed by your audio system.
2. Check and verify your cable connections (HDMI, optical, or analog). Ensure that the cables are in good condition and securely connected.
3. Update both your TV and soundbar or audio system to the latest software version to ensure all bug fixes and improvements are applied.
4. Make sure the Control for HDMI (HDMI CEC) is set to ON on both the TV and the audio device. If the connected device has settings for Audio Return Channel (ARC) or TV Audio Input mode, set them to ON or Auto.
5. If using HDMI ARC or eARC, ensure that the HDMI cables are properly connected to the matching ARC or eARC ports on both the TV and the soundbar or audio system.
6. If using an optical audio cable, verify that both the TV audio output setting and the audio device settings are correctly configured.
These steps can help address the disconnecting issue and improve the overall functionality of your audio system with your TV. If the problem persists, please contact us at socialsupport@am.sony.com, providing your name, username, model number, a description of the issue, and your telephone number. We are here to assist you further.
Thanks for considering Sony products, your experience matters to us and we’re committed to resolve this issue.
