Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have some good and bad opinions about this tv.I think the brightness isn't that great.I tried playing content to where it dims when i set it on high.I tried turning off the dim settings that cause it to change.The problem still occurs.The good news is that the color,features,sound is great.I'm not sure if something is defective on my tv in which it be dimming.I'm not sure if it is a setting.I wish i knew the problem.

We Love Our New Sony OLED - Best Picture Ever!

In the store I compared it to the LG and Samsung any none if them had a better picture unless I paid several hundred dollars more.

Screen is very bright and TV great for live sports

I still have the 30 inch tube wide screen from 25 years ago, the 200 pounder and it still works like new. The complaints for this one were the screen was not bright enough. My experience is the screen is plenty bright and sometimes too bright. I had to work with the settings quite a bit because it was hurting my eyes due to brightness. I recommend professional screen setting if it’s in the budget but there’s online videos and advice for screen adjustment. Once I got the screen right, every show looks better than any TV I’ve owned and especially live sporting events. Good purchase. The 65 inch box fit into the back of my 2012 Grand Cherokee

If you really want the best viewing experience, it's a good idea to turn off all lighting sources as Sony TVs look the best in the darkest environment possible. Light from windows and lamps may cause glare on the TV screen. Using a brighter Picture Mode, like Vivid or Standard, will also help reduce reflection while watching TV or gaming. Having said that, you can configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size. Select the appropriate picture setting for your Google TV. Glad to know you are now able to enjoy immersive, engaging cinematic experience in your home.

Everything we watch has an excellent picture. From 4K Blue Rays (Top Gun: Maverick) to regular TV (Yellowstone) to sports (NFL Sunday Ticket). We choose the “vivid” picture setting for all our viewing. Even 30 year old movies on Netflix. Setup was super easy our apps where easy to find and log into. The only problem we found was in turning the set on the TV will automatically go to the apps rather than our Directv. But I’m sure that could be fixed in settings, I just haven’t looked yet. Very happy!

Buy Sony at Your Own Risk

This was my 3rd Sony TV, I had issues with the other 2, and Best Buy was great and replaced them. This one I received this in December, and it work fine until it started by itself disconnected from the WIFi then I had to reboot the TV, which sometimes did not help, then remove my wifi account and then put it back in service and sign back into that and hope it worked. It did at times but I could live with it. Over the last month, the loss of wifi connection became a daily issue, I spoke with Best Buy and they said to talk with Sony, well I went through 4 reps, who add me to do this and that and even took over my TV, they did changes and while they were in my TV it lost wifi connection. I said this is what I go through daily. Long story short a rep called me back and said sorry TV is within specs, and talk over me for the whole call, what I said did no longer matter. She blamed Verizon FIOS for the issue, told me to lower the TV to the ground, spit my router, and have Verizon make changes to their system so the TV might work better, I kept telling her my Sony 1100ES Blu-ray player never has an issue, my other older Sony TV never had this issue, and my LG C9 never had this issue and they are still being used, so when my TV would lose wifi connection I would try my other units and all worked fine. So in the end she said this was their call and to them I have no issues with the TV. So I have a $2,000 TV that does not work and I have to live with it. So you buy a Sony you better hope you have no issues because if you do, it won't be their problem it will be yours, and they really don't care if you buy another Sony product. I hate to have to write this but I felt I had to do so to warn others of this issue and how Sony will deal with it. They will blame anyone but say yes, we have a problem with this unit. I am so disappointed, even with their own reps facing the issues while trying to assist me. This is not the Sony from the past where their claim to fame was quality and customer care. When the TV works it is very enjoyable with a nice picture but it ends there after purchase don't matter. See attached photos, one shows when I tried to connect to YouTube and the other is when the TV came on to the home screen and you will see a red dot in the upper right-hand corner that means wifi connection is lost. Maybe Best Buy will assist me.
