My wife is very happy to have the discrete 5:1 sound system out of the living area. The soundbar takes up a lot less room and is less cluttered. Sound does mot match bigger system but works great for us.

If you desire the best sounding sound bar, this is the one. The software doesn't work very well. It won't stay connected to the TV via HDMI for various reasons that I can't figure out. This occurs when the TV is turned off and on. Once everything is connected, the sound bar will stay connected. Casting from an iPhone is limited and not well integrated. Bluetooth connections get lost when the sound bar is turned on and off or hibernates. SONY should update the software. The sound coming out is fantastic though. So, 5 for sound, 1 for software equals 3 overall.

I recently updated my TV to a OLED Masterpiece....my antiquated surround system, unfortunately, could not do the TV justice.... so i replaced it with a new AV receiver, new speakers, the works, hated it. returned it, and heard all this glorious noize blaring throughout the store, i followed it and fell in love with this simple plug and play awesomeness...... not only is it powerful, but the clarity and ease of use made me fall in love instantly....

The picture and sound on my TV are completely different from the Stereo Receiver and free standing 5.1 channel speakers I owned. So much safer for the kids and sounds so much better.

Sony makes a great product. Terrific sound for a sound bar. I thought we would need surround sound for our basement but this product is great. Feels like your at the movies.

This is a excellent soundbar. The quality of the sound of these speaker is superb. I feel like I am in a movie theatre when I turn these on.

I looked up a lot of sound bars, and read a lot of reviews. This one was one of the top 3. Went to the store and listened to the top 3 , this thing was amazing. I hooked up the Bluetooth and played my music, sounded even better. Eventually an agent came over and asked if I could turn down the volume, apparently I forgot were I was. Couldn't leave with out it.

Enough power NEVER to clip. A dizzying array of sound processing functions allow you to define the listening environment and total technological compatibility allows it to function with everything I have encountered. A powerful and comprehensive system in a suprisingly compact package.

I know this is not the best soundbar out there, but for not wanting to run audio cables around my basement, this soundbar sure packs a punch with the 7.1 surround sound. Now, I probably would not be as pleased had I purchased it at regular price ($1,500). For $600, I am extremely pleased with this product as a complement to my new 4k LED.

At first it sounded a little weak, but after listening with different programs/movies I'm very pleased with the sound. It's nice and full.

Definitely like the the 7.1 channal soundbar with subwoofer and being able to audio stream from any device with bluetooth sounds awesome

This sounds way better than Bose. An does more. Can't go wrong.

The sound bar was easy to connect to my Sony television and it sounds great but every time you turn it on it is muted

Wanted to try a higher end soundbar, and this one was on special. Sounds great for my living room!

I bought this sound bar for my XBR75X850 and it works great. The sound quality is fantastic and the set up was extremely easy. Since it and the TV are both Sony the connection was seamless and the sound bar has so many options, any one can find that sweet spot for the perfect tv sound.
