I did not expect the sound bar to perform as well as it does. It sounds great.

I bought this soundbar and used it for about a week. After recently moving to a new home, I was hopeful to replace some bookshelf speakers with a sleek all in one solution. After reading some decent reviews, I decided to give this a go. The sound was decent for movies, but was lackluster with music reproduction. I listen to jazz, blues, rock, and classical. I was looking for more accurate sound reproduction rather than bass heavy sound. It was really lacking in midrange frequencies a tad boomy. The sound settings kept changing on my Sony Bravia TV through the HDMI no matter how I set the soundbar or TV settings. I wound up running all components directly to the TV and using the optical out of the TV to the soundbar. I called Sony support, and they really didn't have a solution, so I wound up returning it. If you don't have any advanced setting needs or aren't into accurate sound reproduction, then this is the soundbar for you. If you want decent audio fidelity, then look elsewhere.

I enjoy this product. Its easy to connect with my phone using NFC and it has good sound. I usually use it with my tv and I am really enjoying this. I recommend this. It may be expensive for some of us but its worth it.

Did not research this sound bar very much but took the advice of the salesperson. I text a buddy that works in home theater arena and he agreed. It was also a great sale at the time and sound quality is awesome.

This Sony soundbar sounds incredible! Very easy to hook up and connect. It was the perfect solution as an alternative to a high priced surround sound system. The clarity and sound quality are excellent.

Sony made the right speaker for my living and TV room.

Did not go in to buy a soundbar but they were having a great sale and after hearing the clearity of this product, I purchased this with no regrets. Great addition to our home entertainment center

While not having quite the same sound as a surround sound system, this works very well! I'm able to get a relatively full sound, and I've never even turned the volume all the way up!

I bought this system because I didn't want the hassles of having a bunch of speakers and wires with the traditional surround sound system. The soundbar is loaded with speakers and the subwoofer is large . Sounds great but very expensive.

I purchased a Sony 4k tv and got this 1700 dollar sound system for 600 dollars. I have it set at 20 and it goes to 50. Anywhere above 25 and my neighbors start to complain.

I wanted to improve sound from.that of the tv. this was a lot better than that of the tv but not much. so if you have very limited space and don't have room or money for a proper 5.1 or 7.1 sound then this is what you want!

This item was an "open box" purchase so it was a great value. For the amount of space the bar takes up, it offers big sound with good range. The sub woofer provides all the bass I need. An easy access USB port is a nice feature. I've been a Sony guy for years... Still am.

Definitely wanted a soundbar for better sound when watching movies and playing games. I've always have gone with Sony and this will be staple to my entertainment setup

The sound quality is great. I have it hooked up to my 75in Sony 4K tv. However the sound falls out of sync with the display on the tv. This is extremely annoying.

Bluetooth was a pain to set up everything I turned on the system

I owned an older Sony soundbar but elected to upgrade because old soundbar did not support 3d pass through. I love the soundbar and it solved my problem. Would have given 5 stars, but had issue where subwoofer did not pair. Replacement sub works great.
