The Sony a6000 provides excellent photo quality with a mid-range price. The two lenses provide excellent quality at short or long distances. The lightning fast focusing ability is the best feature of the camera. The camera is slim and compact which is great, but can sometimes make holding the camera awkward in certain situations. Overall the camera is excellent and I highly recommend it to a recreational photographer or professional.

Did not see or handle the a6000 before ordering but went on reviews and descriptions at Best Buy and elsewhere. They were all true and accurate. Incredible quality for any price. Pictures clear and sharp. Functions are intuitive, easy to manipulate and ergonomic. I have added a Sony prime 50/1.8 lens, flash, more batteries, filters and new sling strap. The only concern is how it holds up getting banged around and wet/damp. Time will tell.

I am very happy with my purchase of my a6000. I can take pictures and feel like a pro doing so. The ability to swap lenses means I can begin a new hobby of lense collecting.

This camera was an amazing buy. Really easy to take with anda breeze to use. It was a great first step as a beginner and I don't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon.

Bought this after having a DSLR for a few years, took me some getting used to, but a great light weight camera for my travels! Easy and compact.

I purchased this to use as a streaming camera for things such as Twitch, Facebook Live, or Youtube. This has a great quality picture and a clean output so no pesky camera stats or focus boxes on your stream. Does require a dummy battery to remove the limitation of a 30 minute time out, but that is to be expected from any camera used for streaming.

This is a very nice entry level mirrorless. I bought this as a secondary camera and is very handy at times and has very nice features. Easy to use and quality from Sony!!!

I bought this camera to replace an aging DSLR. My first impression was that I love how small and lightweight it is. It captures amazingly high detail. I'm by no means a professional photographer, but this cameras focusing and high burst rate made it perfect for even the most challenging pictures on the drag racing track! I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a good camera that you can pickup and shoot and get great results.

A great SLR quality camera, while lacking the mirror still has the same capabilities, picture quality and flexibility in a much smaller package. Video and pictures are as easy to take as a point a point and shoot in automatic mode so having someone less versed in photography use the camera is no problem as well. Only complaint is the kit lens is a little more fragile due to its electronic motor and plastic build.

I bought this camera for my wife to replace her "point and shoot" that was heavy and hurting her wrist. She loves this camera. She especially loves the crisp detail of the photos compared to her previous camera and the light weight is perfect for her. I used it a couple of times and loved it so much I bought my own. This is a wonderful camera at a decent price.

This camera was purchased for someone that is beginning to be interested in photography. It is perfect for her because she can put it in auto and it will take amazing pictures, or she can get creative with the settings and do even more with it. It's very compact and lite so she can take it anywhere. The app allows you to control the camera from your phone and view any pictures on your phone. The only down side is that to use the app you have to link using wifi. Bluetooth would have been better. But it is an amazing camera that takes great pictures.

I purchased this camera to take photos of a wide variety of scenes after spending years using just a smart phone camera. This camera is easy to use and extremely powerful for the price! The kit lens is decent, but at the price point you can afford to buy a fast prime lens to really take your photographs to the next level!
