Bought this for my daughter as a starter camera based on already having the a7...being that this is not full frame, I can't think of any other cons to this camera. The shutter speed is second to none, love having both cameras at my disposal.

The camera is terrific, can do anything camera. But the instructions are difficult to find and difficult to use. Sony should not automatically assume that every one purchasing this product is already totally familiar with the operation and use of a camera of this complexity and capability

Perhaps I wasn't thrilled about paying $600 bucks for a camera, but according to the wife this camera is boss. In 2018 is it the best you can buy? Of course not, it's like 2-3 years old. That being said, apparently it's still pretty solid. Good started camera for any person wanting to pick up photography without busting their bank (if you think 600 for a camera is a lot... go look at some of the new ones #broke).

This camera is great for beginners. I am still learning how to use the camera since it has so many options and also I am a noob. I recommend everyone who buys to research on how to use and if u feel comfortable with it. Takes great pictures.

We both own DSLRs but purchased the A6000 in black for traveling. We enjoy using this camera and all of it's cool features. The really big downside to this camera is the writing on the buttons that will fade over time, which doesn't equate to me since the A6000 ~ $700 after taxes!! Still, we enjoy this camera and love it. Please, please, please make the writings better on the camera Sony.

Camera replaced a D60 Nikon and is much more compact, faster focusing and the burst shooting is truly amazing.

I switched form Canon, after using it for 10 years. I like the small size of this camera. Attached to 16-50mm lens, this is one of the smallest and most compact interchangeable lens system around. Thanks to Sony's innovative breakthrough product.

I am very happy with my new alpha sonya6000. I am just learning how it works and i find it very easy as i go.

I am a beginner photographer and i did lots of research before buying my first camera. I love the sony a6000! It takes great clear pictures! Below are some pictures I took with my sony!

This is a professional quality camera without the bulk of a large DSLR . The a6000 has the professional features but can also be used by a "point and shoot" photographer. Interchangeable lens gives the flexibility of shooting all types of scenery and events.

Got this and we love it! Makes me seem like the best photographer in the world. Highly recommend to others!!

So much in such a small package. Low light is good but could be better. For apsc this guy makes it happen.

Great image quality with excellent viewfinder and lightweight too.

I love that this camera is lightweight. However you do have to move stuff around to figure some functions but Google and YouTube are my friend . I have the basic lens but hopefully with bigger lens the picture will come out more professional.

This camera is fantastic to have if you like the take pictures and in beautiful, high resolution quality. There are so many different options and settings to choose from within the camera menu, but with time, it becomes second nature to just click and shoot a fantastic picture with ease.

Nice take along camera, lots of settings, a little bit hard to get filters on but I'm enjoying it so far! great pictures also I might add. the media card is a little tough to get out. I use tweezers, being careful not to touch the contacts with anything metal. I would recommend, but also a little pricey.

This camera is the most amazing camera I have ever owned. The app to take pictures with as a controller works flawless. The quality of pictures, especially on fast moving like someone running around the bases in a baseball game, is absolutely beautiful.

It’s easy to use and I’ve gotten many beautiful pictures using this, especially at night.

I read a lot of positive reviews before buying this camera and was very pleased with my purchase. Took it on a trip with me and was able to take exceptional photos. I still need to learn how to play with the settings but overall I was very pleased with the quality of the photos.
