Sony 4K Streaming 4K Built-In Blu-ray Player

Noticed a big difference on my new Sony TV when playing movies. Even the older movies sound and picture was an upgrade.

It does its job

Wrong that how she falls asleep at night. So I bought this one and it works well and does its job. Where it falls short is in the app department I was hoping it had youtube kids and Disney+ on it. But it does not and after talking to soney there are no plans to add them.

Does the Job

Sony has good products, so I took a chance on the Sony BDP-S6700 Blu-ray Player. I can link apps and watch YouTube and other applicable apps. It is small so it does not take up a lot of space. The only downside is that it is missing the display on the unit. Otherwise, it works fine.

Samsung vs Sony -- happy with my choice

In researching what is out there, it's a familiar territory with Samsung and Sony leading the way in the non-high end market. I had a Samsung previously. It held up for about 5 years of average use. Decided to give the Sony a try this time. So far so good. It loads more quickly. Picture quality is good and the remote is not as complex or should I say confusing as Samsung.
