I had been looking for the perfect center channel speaker. When I saw this SONY and heard it in the store I was hooked. The price when I bought it was within my budget. Looks great with the silver SONY LOGO too! Great connectors on the back, solid and handsome in black. It's amazing the difference the one extra speaker makes in the perception of sound. Beats the tiny speakers in the TV every time.

THIS SONY 'CORE SERIES' CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER IS A GREAT SOUNDING SPEAKER LOCATED IN A BEDROOM (IN MY CASE) FOR 5 CHANNEL MOVIE LISTENING - THIS SPEAKER WOULD ALSO WORK IN A MUCH LARGER SPACE - ITS BUILD QUALITY WAS FIRST RATE AND THE 'ON SALE' PRICE WHEN I PURCHASED WAS ALSO GREAT

This center channel speaker was a good upgrade from my old no namer, size was perfect and sale price was great.

I needed a center speaker that fit my tv stand/fireplace and this fit perfectly. The sound is nice and crisp for an affordable speaker. I highly recommend it for a simple solution and not overpriced.

VERY nice center speaker. Used with sony STR-DH790 av receiver with pair of KLH main speakers and pair of Dual bookshelf speakers. Waited for it to go on sale and used my BB bucks.

This little speaker works great for our small setup. It packs a lot of sound but is compact enough for our small floating TV shelf.

This was a nice enhancement to my stereo system. Never had a center channel speaker before, but now that my home theatre system is set up, it was a necessity. The price was reasonable, and the quality was what I expect from Sony, which is excellent. Dialogue was noticeably enhanced with the addition of this speaker, keeping it from getting muddled in the rest of the sound.

Sounds great!! Crisp clear dialogue and punchy vocals when listening to music. Currently paired with my SONY STRDH790 receiver in a 3.1 configuration. This was a replacement speaker for my setup and was an immediate improvement, even without making any adjustments or tweaks to the receiver settings. Definitely recommend.

Speaker does what you expect. Easy install, sound is clear, and i have no complaints with this product.

This center has a surprising amount of power and clarity. I picked mine up on sale but would say its worth the full price. Added into my setup to make a 3.1 for now and my listening experience has changed for the better!

It sounds so good. It have my TV. Sounds like I'm in the theater right now. Just about watching and hear the sound at the same time. The bookshelf speakers is excellent. Get it

Sound is amazing from this center speaker. Haven’t had one of this quality in an awhile and it brings back good memories.

I bought this speaker when it was on sale for $75. At that price point I didn't expect much but it sounds extremely good. It has some very crisp highs that anyone can appreciate. It doesn't have much in the bass department. But I can easily look over that beacuse the sub does all the heavy lifting in terms of the bass. The design doesn't stand out for better or for worse. Overall this product is amazing and I can't easily reccomend it.

Phenomenal value--got it at the outlet. After a couple weeks went by, I went and got me another one at the outlet. How did I get by for so many years without center speakers I cannot say. The quality is very good, although to be sure, these cannot be difficult to manufacture. I do like that the speaker wire connections actually seem big enough to hang on tight. Very crisp, very nice for catching the dialog for a change. Working great in a frugal 5.1 setup. I'm going to add the second one bought to upgrade another setup to 5.0 and then maybe I will have to slide my sub around if I'm too cheap to buy another, heh.

If you are looking for a better way to add sound to your system, this is definitely the system to go with. I'm in the process of replacing all my speakers and started here over my base center speaker that came in one of those packs with all the speakers for $250. If you are looking for a more professional sound, this is the way to go! Don't forget to get the Sony Sub to go with it!

Just plug and play. Great for movie night. Used as the center channel speaker along with front Sony L&R bookshelf core series speakers. connected to Denon AVR. Excellent sound and frequency range. Very good for karaoke night as well.

I bought this Sony center channel speaker to add the “5” to my 5.1 surround sound system. Now, I feel like I’m right in the middle of sporting events, and I will need to rewatch every movie I’ve seen to experience the awesome new sound. It is a great addition to my audio system and the best deal ever for the sale price.

I replaced good but old speakers. Very good high and mid range sounds. Very responsive. Bass is also good.
