Upgraded to match the Sony tower speakers I purchased. Crisp, clear and very reasonably priced.

Once again, Sony comes through with a well priced product that performs beyond what you'd expect. It's a heavy build with very crisp highs and mids. This center speaker seems to be able to handle a lot of power so you don't have to worry about its capabilities. It performs very far above the typical center speaker for around the $140 I paid for it.

For the size this is a very good well balanced speaker. I wish the highs were a little more pronounced but still, very clear and crisp.

After upgrading my home heater, this speaker replaced a paradigm center speaker that was accidently blown out. I purchased a matching Paradigm speaker, but was disappointed with the tone of the voices. Since my Paradigm was over 15 years old I reasoned that I should replace it with more up to date speaker that matched my new Sony receiver. While I am not totally satisfied, the new Sony speaker has better tonal quality.

This is a nice speaker, not too big, enough sound for my room. And what's more is that it was super easy to order online and pick up in store.

I have a 5.1 sound system with JBL speakers. When the center speaker gave out, I was in the market for a new one. I read the reviews of this Sony speaker and it was a favorite among the audiophiles. That's what led me to buy it... I agree! IT'S AWESOME!

Sounds good, the form factor is too high for a center speaker that’s supposed to fit under a tv on a stand but that’s my only complaint. Voices are clear and natural sounding. As always with Sony, this seems like a component that will last way longer than it needs to.

Got this to replace my cheap center channel. Sounds incredible with video games and regular tv. Plus Im a big Sony fan . Nice affordable mid level speaker.

This speaker does a great job delivering clean, clear highs and mids. I am easily able to hear the horns, stings, and vocals through this speaker. The sound is bright, and a bit forward. The case construction is solid, and feels high-end. The connectors on the back sit flush with the case and accept a wide variety of connections.

I'm using this as a center speaker so voice clarity was my goal. It is exactly what I wanted. I have a JBL 5.1 theater system and was using my old tv as the center speaker (it was designed to use that way). It was good but this is better and I am satisfied. Speakers are a subjective choice and this one works for me.

Picked these up as upgrades to my home theater. The online reviews/critiques for these are rather positive, especially considering the price point. Quality seems to be great and they sound awesome. The center speaker is a little bulky, about the size of a receiver. Make sure there is space on the shelf for it.

High quality, these provide so much oomph with such crystal clear highs. Great addition to the home theater!
